Two things i didnt say on the video: 1: the gold real rpf1 is damaged from an accident and it was still holding air in that condition. 2: the replicas i bought them used for 300 the whole set of 4 so for me getting the fake ones was defiently a deal, thats why i bought them lol. Real rpf1s used go for $900 in my area in same condition. But getting them new condition, i would go with real for a minimum price difference, better quality and performance
$200 for real? Maybe well used or in a civic sized 16". I priced rpf1's in 18x8.5/18x9.5 for my is350 and they're around $1600 for silver or $1850 for SBC. Not cheap. Add another $700 for decent tires, 950 for Michelin. Used is the only way to go if you don't got money. I'd buy used forged monoblocks over new rpf1s.

This video was helpful, thanks for posting. I had no idea there was such a thing as "fake" rims, its all new to me.
Does the “fake” one still have Enkei in the mould? If so, it should be known that Enkei have Chinese factories and do make rims in China.
No. And thats how i knew it wasnt a legit enkei. I bought the whole set for cheap but i just knew it was too good to be true lol
Notice that the real enkei has 2 small markings at the bottom of the spokes
Rota is approved by japan to be made in the philippines 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤣
The real one got more inner barrel clearance than the fake one.

What’s weird to me is on the gold ones, why is it embossed 5x100 but the sticker says 114.3?
Yea ive seen that in other wheels tho. Maybe thats what they were originaly going to be but then they decided to change the pattern by demand idk
They stamp all the sizes that wheel is usually made in my ssr wheels are like that as well
The stickers are on backwards on the fake wheels.
Good observation
The tire is not even close to too wide on the mounted wheel lololol
Enkei have a factory in China
Thank you for the video, just ordered some rpf1’s and this was really helpful thank you.
Both are replicas and fake 😂
RPF1s are also a replica lmao
What are they a replica of?
PF1 r stands for replica
