Love that connection you have with your grandma and nail polish. I enjoy listening to audio books while working doing chores or driving long distances. It makes the task much more enjoyable. I, too, love summer veggies fresh from the garden. Thanks for sharing.
Kellie, I follow the Cross Legacy method of washing and storing fruit and vegetables (game changer!). When I read books with different native languages, if the author doesn't clarify, I Google Translate it. It can be a little annoying, but the authentic language adds elements of authenticity to a novel. Thanks for sharing your 'favorite things' including the sweet memory of painting your Grandmother's nails. Enjoy your upcoming travels!
I've never read Under the Tuscan Sun, but I own the move, and it is one of my favorites! I love the yellow based reds that you spoke of, but I look like death in them. I can only wear blue based reds. I love your videos.
I have not read Under the Tucson Sun, but the movie based on the book with Diane Lane is wonderful. The language is not a problem either which is nice.
I tried to read Under the Tuscan Sun a year or two ago, and never could get into it. Maybe it was the Italian peppered throughout that stopped me from reading it. I don’t really remember though. It just didn’t grab my attention. I’m reading Sense and Sensibility right now and I will stop and look up words I’m unfamiliar with if the sentence doesn’t make sense otherwise. A podcast I just listened to (purely for entertainment value) was Scamanda. That was a fascinating listen.
I love your videos! Have you ever read “Frugal Luxuries” by Tracey McBride? It seems like the kind of book you would appreciate! Also, living a beautiful life, by Alexandra stoddard Keep up the great work!
I have read books where there were phrases, words, etc. in other languages. I did the same as you; I started looking them up on google & then got tired of doing it. I was hopeful that maybe I would learn something & broaden my knowledge. That didn’t happen😂. Maybe I’m just lazy, but I didn’t really enjoy them much. I really did love The Nightingale!
The white shirts were such a score!! Love them!

I have been enjoying fresh strawberries with a little whipped cream cheese spread on them and topped with two chocolate chips! Yum yum! 🍓🍓🍓💓💓💓
I really enjoy these reset videos
Love seeing the seasonal nail polish picks! Makeup would be fun too 😊

Thanks for the recommendations, I've placed a hold for them at my library!
