- Quick & Easy Manual: APM 2.6 Radio-Throttle FailSafe function for Drones.
Our 'Flashing the APM 2.6 PPM encoder to allow Radio-Throttle FailSafe (Atmega32U2)' Video is here: • Flashing the APM 2.6 P...
Tested with an APM 2.6 running V3.2.1, a Turnigy 9X transmitter
bound to a 9X8Cv2 receiver and a Taranis X9D Plus transmitter
bound to a X8R receiver
For other transmitters please check your manual.
Radio-Throttle FailSafe: What do we want to happen?
When the APM no longer receives a signal (no pulses) from the
RC transmitter (via the onboard RC receiver) then a predetermined action occurs, for example: Return to Launch (RTL), Land, Continue with Mission in Auto Mode, or Do Nothing.
However, the FS PWM value must satisfy several criteria as described in this video.
Thanks for your vids. It's easy to understand
