    I had a BB 10 years ago, and an excellent bike it was. Being a Honda, it was well screwed together.
    I have it’s dad in my collection, a ‘91 CBR1000F which is also a beautiful bike to ride.. I also have an A2 ZX12R, which was a contemporary to the Busa..back in the day.

    I too noticed the fairing experiencing an abrupt shutter sound over some sharp bumps. Mine is a US spec 2002 model.

    The world needs a new blackbird with the new fireblade engine, a little detuned, better forks and rear shock,better brakes and finally a vfrish riding position!keep on riding!!

      Maybe that ship has passed as far as this type of bike is concerned ? The new Blade engine ? Not big enough , not enough power or torque and too revvy. If I was designing it it would be at least 1.4 litre , a vee 6 which has inherent dynamic advantages , at least 250 bhp and over 100 lbft of torque at sensible revs and minimal electronics. Nice to dream !

      I'd just go with a carbon copy of what was but with a 1500 in line 4 with balance shafts and nice large stainless steel pipes and honda over engineering. It would sell like hot cakes.

    For Comfort l still prefer Blackbird but hayabusa riding posture is not really nice. Only mid or high end ref maybe be better because of bigger horsepower. Honda Need Blackbird 1300 or 1400 to compare with Hayabusa 1300 and Kawasaki 1400. That will be awesome👌

    • @calderdale6795
      @calderdale6795 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Agree on all counts , but the high bar conversion on the Blackbird plays a part in the comfort stakes compared to my Busa.

    I like the foot pegs better on my Hayabusa. Have I mentioned I have a Hayabusa? My nail polish matches my Hayabusa. I’m pretty sure the wheels are more round on my Hayabusa. I sing like Adele on my Hayabusa.
    We get it. You ride a Hayabusa. I ride a Blackbird. Does everything better than your Hayabusa but top speed. I rarely go over 190mph though. But rock on with your Hayabusa.

    How do you film this with such great wind noise suppression? What system do you use for filming? Do you use a separate mic? if so where do you mount it? Love the video.

    • @calderdale6795
      @calderdale6795 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Well , I was lucky enough to be given a cheap action camera by a friend who was “upgrading”…..nothing special , which has an external microphone 3.5 m jack. It also came with a cheap mic with a fairly short cable. I have the camera on the side of my helmet with the microphone tucked into the foam of the helmet just in front of my mouth. Another friend told me to put an inline volume control between the camera and the mic { available on Amazon). It’s set about halfway which gives reasonable sound quality , but you just do a test run and see how it sounds. I just did what they told me!

    Hello I have a 2003 CBR 1100xx. I noticed in your video that you have a bar across your handle bars. Did you convert handle bar or did you add that bar to original handles? If you did add, where do I get it from?

    • @calderdale6795
      @calderdale6795 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s part of a straight bar conversion kit supplied by Jaws Motorcycles in the UK. The kit is listed on E bay UK number 263977391713.
      The kit was already on the bike , and I have found it to be very comfortable. , better than the 22mm risers fitted on the Hayabusa. If fitted you will also need mirror extenders and maybe longer control cables ,all available on E bay UK.

      Well , Robert , the electric fan does cut in when the bike is stationary , but no worse than the Hayabusa. During the recent hot spell I found my Hornet 900 cooling fan was cutting in during low speed riding in traffic. If you are concerned maybe flushing through the whole system might be an idea ?
