It’s been over 5 years since we’ve been. Used to always go and is one of my family’s favorite places to go can’t wait to go back

I am so impressed with your channel! we are now planning our first exotic trip with 3 years old son, what would be your top recommendations for a safe, stroller-friendly trip with nice beaches? All the best!

    Great Video👍 very informative.
Question? Did you rent a car or took a taxi to go around?

Hi! We didn’t take any. You can walk the entire island in a couple of hours, which of course we didn’t. I think in total we walked about two hours or so. 😁👌🏻 Have you been to the Caribbean? And are you planning a trip to Saint Barth? I can remember taxi’s were particularly expensive.. 😜

Hi. Enjoyed your video. I am planning this trip in 2 weeks. Have been reading a lot about how rough the ferry ride is from st maarten to st barts. How would you describe it? Also the same for st maarten to Anguilla. Thanks

FYI, only propeller planes fly into St. Barts. The runway is not long enough for any jets. Cheers

Yes that’s true. Strangely enough they do call them jets on Saint Barth. Check out the private charter websites… We aren’t native English speakers. Same word for planes in Dutch, big or small. Maybe the French do too 😜

@@WoutoftheWorld I have been going to SXM (where I own property) and St. Barts since 1990, and I never heard them called jets. Not too big a deal I guess. Cheers

Thanks for the great comment 😁🤙🏻 spring is best for this route. We started in February, Dominican Republic. St. Barth was in the middle of March. Have you seen the other videos? There are plenty coming all the way to the South. The first months from January to April are best in the Caribbean 😅😍

Private jets flying over your head every 10 minutes? There are NO jets flying into St. Barths, the runway is too short. They are all propeller planes, and not private. Too far to fly from America and Europe. The private jets fly into St. Martin and then by chartered small planes or helicopters to St. Barths.

By jets we mean airplanes.. right? You should google how many ‘private jet companies’ there are on Saint Barth 🤪🤙🏻

Try St Barth Executive.. of course they are propeller planes.. it doesn’t matter also. Did you like the video? 😁👍🏻 cheers from the family!

@WoutoftheWorld I did like the video, just trying to help, some watching might think they can fly their jets there. I've Been going to St. Barths since the 70's. I would say it was much better then, before the Super rich made it the St. Tropez of the Caribbean. I can still remember Jimmy Buffet's bar, and the sailboat he kept in the Harbour, long before the Super yachts came.

That’s nice to hear! You have been a witness to the changes than. It is nowadays a lot more accessible, that’s a very good thing indeed. I didn’t mean the private jets as an advice, just to point out the small planes flying all the time. I understand your point. Have you been to other islands in the Caribbean too?

@WoutoftheWorld yes, most of them. Since my teens. I prefer the more laid back old Caribbean style. Places like St. Martin are overpopulated and Americanized, aside from French side. If you really want experience the Caribbean do it by sailboat. Live aboard, take your time. St. Vincent & the Grenadines down to Grenada by boat is the way to go.
      Cheers from
