Man we have all had those days when the neighbors dogs wanna come find what tree your climbing or some other guy comes strolling through. Just gotta stay positive and use the skills and lessons learned over the years to make an accurate decision to push on or hold fast. It obviously worked out well for you guys! Good luck this year I'm looking forward to future videos!
I'm really liking this channel. Feel a real connection based on how you all hunt. Our group has been hunting the same way for the past 20+ years and faced many of the situations you have shown. Keep it going and looking forward to the next hunt.
Very true always visit the local bar they have the best food so that’s where the locals go also the local farmer livestock market they usually sell food on auction day 👍✌🏻🇺🇸
Great video. I had a similar experience in Ohio. The local watering hole can produce some great leads and access. Looking forward to more videos. Subbed. Well done.
Dude you have to get rid of the saddle. All your shots are limited. You are facing the tree haha! Saddle hunters get busted a lot from movement and miss out on good shots behind them
I have a question.? If the thermals pull down in the morning and bucks scent check from the bottom.Wouldn't you want to be low? If your high the bucks will be either below you or wind you potentially? Are you anticipating where they will come up? Just trying to learn I'm formulating a plan for next month.
@@Random_Quads in the mornings once the sun comes up and warms that air the thermals will rise bringing that scent upwards. If that buck is looking to scent check then he needs to be high up to smell what’s down below. They are usually bedding up high anyways for the rest of the day. I’d prefer to hunt the tops as much as you can anyways because of the unpredictable wind changes down in the bottoms if you can help it.
Word of advice. The older you get the less you should be biting hard things with your front teeth lol. Ive seen too many ppl chip their front teeth on seemingly softer things than acorns lol. They all say the same thing. "Man ive been doing this my whole life" i think your teeth just get weaker as you age and your front teeth are thinner than your molars. Sorry for this to turn into a ted talk lol but i hate to see ppl chip their teeth and then have to go through years of dental work and it never looks right and they always seem to have problems eating things from then on
I heard you say I’d like to shoot him when you found the dead head, I said the same thing last year when I found a ten pointer dead head until my Son said he’s already dead, Dad is getting old, haha
So I’m not supposed to work during hunting season? How am I supposed to support myself self? I can’t afford to stop working just so you can enjoy your an uninterrupted hunt.
"i know how it is when you get the fever" lol. worth the price of admission right there
coolest landowner I've ever seen.
Haha he was the man.
i'm not i've ever heard a buck roar in my life. that was nuts

WELCOME TO INDIANA HUNTING
Your “buddy” Brad said you could access that area through his property. Didn’t you just meet the dude? 😂
What’s a good lens to record video?

Temperatures rise during the morning, so your thermals will rise. As the temperature drops in the afternoon, your thermals will drop.
@@kylesuitor9407I know but wouldn't you want to be low in the morning? The bucks will be scent checking in the bottoms because the thermals.
@Random_Quads only time I see deer in bottoms is when traveling long distance or at night.but that's just my opinion

Love the series and the content it contains! Footage is pretty shaky on this one no? Keep after them!
Thank you!! It was a rough trip lol

@@latitudeoutdoors yup my friend chipped both his front teeth on fishing line lol

Haha that’s great
Foresters shouldnt be doing forestry stuff during hunting season...just sayin.
