I know it's Tribeca since you can see 56 Leonard (jenga building) and the WTC.
They were all amazing, but my favorite was #2, the Tribeca penthouse. I love the spacious great room, impeccable interior design, sleek fireplace, private elevator, rooftop patio, and breathtaking 270 degree sunset views.

i lived in nyc for 10 years..it was whatever
was mostly annoyed by traffic and $2000 rent and.....bitter weather half the year.

@@ebayseller6040 In terms of cultural, and economic impact and relevance it definitely is the capital of the world, no doubt about that, as it also is the world's best known most famous city also. traffic, well, it is a metropolis, but believe me, it gets worse than NYC, and that goes for cities that do not have anywhere near the size and density even. I can imagine that apartments in Manhattan are not exactly on the cheap side, yes, but then again, that is by American standards. there are still very affordable places in New York offsidely from the hot spots. it is simply the rule of supply & demand, besides most neighborhoods and former "old places" that were worn and derelict have undergone a significant overhaul and have been renovated and of course that is reflected in the prices.
but let me tell, being from germany, you can easily end up paying 1000-2000 rents a month here in places that are little more than closets in terms of size or dumps in terms of location, quality and standard. so I'd take $1500-2000 for NYC locations over anything here in a heartbeat!.

Reality check: NYC and SF are full of homeless people, trash, bedbugs, ridded with crime and pollution. Pretty boring place. Its major colors: gray, black and old brick.

The first place was a joke. Its important to be brutally honest about how generic these "luxury" homes are. That way everyday consumers become actually more savvy and stop accepting average generic overpriced nonsense. I study architecture and design, most homes are subpar when you truly desire real individual concepts.
What would you have done differently in that first apartment?
