If your opponent takes the pawn on e4, you do NOT have a free queen. Because after 7. Qxd8 , there is 7. ... Bb4+ which is a discovered attack with check.
theres also a line in the goring gambit where instead of Nxc3 you have Bc4 cxb2 Bxb2, and also Bxf7 is a very common forking idea in e4 e5

You forgot about the Blackburne-Shilling Gambit, which can win in just seven moves.
1.e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bc4 Nd4 4. Nxe5 (but Nxd4 is better) Qg5 5.Nxf7?? Qxg2 6. Rf1 Qxe4+. Whatever White does, Black will checkmate with Nf3#.

I went up against the Meitner-mieses gambit once in an irl tournament, this was quite memorable for me because I managed to calculate kc8 when facing the double threats and somehow managed to trade the queens off. Later that game, he blundered a pawn, trapping his rook in the process. He kept making attempts but I slowly sucked his life out until he blundered his bishop along with his rook. managed to save the game from being forced to move my king.

Göring gambit is just Scotch gambit
It's not just the scotch game (it's scotch ge btw not gambit) since in this you openly do not recapture it. This variation that he showed is the göring gambit variation. There is also a similar gambit which can be played in the scotch, called the danish gambit. The danish is mostly played on the 2nd move but the scotch variation of it is considered better for white since they can't defend as easily.

The scotch game is 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.d4 with the main continuation being exd4 and after that you enter the scotch main line with 4.Nxd4 or the Scotch GAMBIT with 4.Bc4

i study openings from 3 engines and all reffered to it as scotch gambit
@@grsharkgamer2249 ever heard of variations? Like Ruy Lopez (main game): Berlin Defence (variation), so does Scotch Game: Göring gambit. It may not be specified in the engines/opening books but when mentioning the Göring gambit you have to mention Scotch first, but you can't mention Scotch as the göring.
