Certainly makes it more rather than less likely. I imagine any sort of referendum would be resisted by both Westminster and Unionist parties in the North with them citing concerns about sectarian violence but a disastrous Brexit could force it onto the table especially if Scotland makes a similar push.
A reunification of Ireland* to mark the end of British colonialism over part of the island. It can't come soon enough. It's a bit controversial that Marcus chose to put the Union Flag over part of Ireland. On a side note, @marcuscleaver - Whether or not the Unionist parties resist or not, is irrelevant. A referendum in the reunification of the island is required under International Law at any time when it is likely to succeed. The (now minority) Unionist voices that sit in Westminister are irrelevant. Unionists, especially the DUP, do not speak for the majority of people in the occupied counties of Ireland.
It's really an awareness of what is happening in the news and the economy as a whole. As long as you're keeping up with current affairs as best you can then you will have 'commercial awareness' ;)

Why does it mean by commercial awareness? I keep hearing it from my uni and I don’t know why it’s important
