Great finds Peakys. I am so glad that I found your channel, as soon as the intro starts I feel happy, you are such a great crowd. Thank you for the history and taking us to these interesting places. See you next time.😊👍❤️
It was such a beautiful day. The first area was stunning, from red leaves on the trees to red brick buildings. A lot of little historical finds are really interesting! Thank you, Marie, for the history of buckles😊 Your research is amazing ❤ I am looking forward to next Thursday 's part 2. Thank you for another fabulous video!
Michael, I still use those bottles for my homemade vinegars. I ferment a variety of fruits when they are in season and use them in salads. I don’t buy store bought salad dressings. Too many preservatives
I had an old padlock similar to the one in your finds, placed it in a hot campfire in the coals and it came out actually functional ! the heat destroys the rust and leaves only the solid steel !! great vids love watching!
So, let’s see…Three horse tack rings, a couple of harness buckles, and a stirrup. All from the same spot, and certainly all linked - Clearly, a horse went skinny dipping.
Wishing you a very happy birthday Michael. Hope you had a fantastic day spent with family and friends and a huge piece of cake 🎂. See you Saturday Peaky's and Friends ❤ great finds by the way 😁
Happy Birthday to Michael! Those old finds were amazing, you must get back there again to dig into more of those old treasures. When I heard Peaky say "Oh Nice!" I thought he sounded exactly like Onslow from the TV programme Keeping Up Appearances, even though Onslow was from Merseyside instead of being a Brummy. Well done to everyone!
The iron you heat up clothes pressing. Two of them also buckles 🗝️🔐 very nice, of their old. Wonderful finds a beer bottle.thank for sharing your video with us all ❤️💕. your friend Shirley from new Bern, north Carolina USA.🎉🎉🎉🎉😮🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😅😊
What a fantastic spot , wonderful finds. Can’t wait for the next video- very fast flowing river but so pretty. I’ll be looking forward to Saturdays live. Each of you Peakys are so kind, funny and smart ❣️🥰bye bye from Texas ❤️Rose
Mrs Peaky, that mystery object you thought had a funny end is a manhole key for lifting grids and manholes, you put it into the slot and turn it 90% so you can lift the cover out. 👍. As for Peaky himself, he really buckled down to pulling up some great finds. 😉.
Could it be part of a ww2 jeep bonet that maybe hinges up with some sort of stop signal incase of roadside emergency? The guess is wild at best lol . Good luck always enjoy your content lovely group of people ❤
Kirsty that twisty curtain end is from a drain rod to unblock a drain pipe as you would turn the rods until it gets a hold of the blockage and you could pull it out hopefully.
never a dull moment yet another outstanding video ,I have been watching you folks for a few weeks now ,I must admit in the beginning it was hard to get thru your accents even though you are speaking proper English but now I understand every word ,Really love you guys
Gave all my good metal poles and such to homeless people in slab city got washed out in a flood, sure would like to join you and stock up again, got a large property always needed.😂
Well the spiral item that you thought was of a curtain pole is actually part of a drain rod kit and I'm pretty sure the large square plate with two D shaped handles is the base of an old lorry seat
You were that kind of ill aswell where you couldn't be bothered doing anything, I'm just coming to the end of some sort of bug where I couldn't even make a cuppa so you have my sympathy. Just thought about the potential spear with bone, could it be a bit of a cooking rotation spitt maybe??

Hi Marie, Glen, Kirstie and Mike. Glad Glen is feeling better. Happy Birthday, Mike! 🎂
Kirsty that twisted peace of metal with brass end looks like what u use to unblock drains 🤔👍
Love the location, no distractions of walkers and cars. The sound of water flowing is calming. 😊😊😊

Well done to everyone!
The mystery item looks like a hatch cover and perhaps the square frame on top is to hold a battery.
Thanks Paul 🤗
By all, till next time ❤
I look forward for your history telling Marie. Good research! The history on buckles was fascinating. I love watching all of you. Love from Texas.
12.56 That item found by Kirsty is a pig tail attachment from a drain rod

Happy Birthday Michael! Hey Kirsty, Marie and Glen👋💙💙💙
Does The Canal Trust line the canals with scaffolding clamps ? I don't know why people use bike locks - they never work. Thanks all
Hello Peakys 👋🏻
Hi Carol 👋😁
The small wooden thing with a metal ring on top looks like a bird call. Just a guess.❤
hmm!
Happy Birthday Mike. Looks like a fun day!

Happy Birthday Mike,I hope you had an awesome day...🎉
Also Totally Awesome finds all of you.
good insights into the finds too
Sorry nearly forgot hello to Glen and Marie, glad to see you back on the bank Glen 🙏❤️
The metal box thing with key hole in is a coin box for old TV pay meter or electric or gas meter
The fancy looking pole with the crown looking end looks like a walking stick from years ago
Happy belated Birthday Michael

Amazing where we all find peace.
The item before the bung thingy, looks more like a spur rather than a stirrup
I think so too.
My gosh someone ought to shake them scaffold people to stop them tossing hundreds of dang clamps😂
Object at 15:16 could be a mounting for a military radio. The square stand off location frame between the handles might also be for heat dissipation.
Happy belated birthday mike 🍻👌
Good finds and interesting too
never a dull moment yet another outstanding video ,I have been watching you folks for a few weeks now ,I must admit in the beginning it was hard to get thru your accents even though you are speaking proper English but now I understand every word ,Really love you guys
Wow great location!
If I don't see you through the week, I'll see you through't window! 😆😅🤣😂❤️🕊️👍
🤣🤣
35.58 ( Kirsty) This item might be a toe clip for a bike ( its been squashed slightly). Fits to pedal.
Glen, if in doubt, give it a clout❤️❤️❤️
Hello from New Mexico. Great video! I hope it turns out to be a spear tip.
Thanks Joey 🤗
That mystery item in the bagging area might be a part of a back door attachment for a Land Rover, the innards or such for the spare (tyre not Royal).
Thanks for the shout out 🤣
Gave all my good metal poles and such to homeless people in slab city got washed out in a flood, sure would like to join you and stock up again, got a large property always needed.😂
Looks to me like a horse has died there and the only things left is the the metal buckles and harness wear
find at 13:02 may be a wadscrew/worm screw used to clean cannons
The triangular file thing could well be a scraper as used for scraping bearings to fit shafts until very recently. A skilled job.
Wow! Talk about heavy metal. That place is loaded!
You found a real honey hole Peaky!
I sing along with your theme song now. But dont know who sings it! Glad Glens better. WOW.Some good finds.
Hey sheena xx
It's a song called walk with the devil by karliene xx
❤
I am really curious about that spear thing. It really did have an ancient feel about it. 😮
Wasn't getting notifications again. What is youtube up to.
Having the same problem so I keep checking to see if the video’s started, going live on Saturday at 3PM 👍🏼
The ballot box things found look like old toilet paper holders
what’s the oldest artifact that you’ve found
Rusty! just kidding Steve I’m older than you mate ❤
Well the spiral item that you thought was of a curtain pole is actually part of a drain rod kit and I'm pretty sure the large square plate with two D shaped handles is the base of an old lorry seat
Gas meter coin tray
Where is Mr Fox, Steve and Allison today?
Mr. Fox has retired from magnet fishing. Steve& Allison just couldn't make it for this episode
Oven door
might be top of the tank
You were that kind of ill aswell where you couldn't be bothered doing anything, I'm just coming to the end of some sort of bug where I couldn't even make a cuppa so you have my sympathy. Just thought about the potential spear with bone, could it be a bit of a cooking rotation spitt maybe??
Are you ever going to show your museum?
It's already out there.
