Thanks a ton for your step by step ILR application for Dependent. It has all the steps explained so nicely and it helps to fill the ILR dependent application independently specifically its so important for a immigrant and there are so many queries.
hi thanks for this video, it's very very helpful. Could you anwser my query: My spouse got ILR last year (skilled worker route), now I am applying for mine (dependant partner), so in the consent section, do I need to select yes for this question "Does the account with the bank or utility company for which you have supplied information and supporting documentation relate to another person who is to provide you financial support?" and then attach my spouse's bank statement/payslips etc (3 months?)? and I am working also , so I also need to attach mine payslips/bank statements etc as well?
Hi, It doesn't seem to enter for the address history details for the past five years, does it? It only requires the current postal address. I had been living at a different place for 3 years before moving to my current address. I could be wrong, but I think this application only allows for the latest postal address. If I'm mistaken, could you please let me know how and where to fill in the previous address?
Hi my wife got ILR Last month she was granted ILR through skilled worker route now am due to apply for ILR can you please tell me which category should I apply whether apply as a partner (family visa) or apply as a partner (dependent on a work visa)
Hi, can you please help me on this query, I will be eligible for ILR this December but my spouse and children aren’t as they have not yet completed 5years. But their Tier 2 dependent visa also will expire in this December. In that case, am I able to apply for Tier 2 dependant visa extension together with my ILR application while I applying? Thanks.
Yes, they are eligible to extend tier 2 dependent visa itself, you would need to first apply for your ILR and with that reference you would need to apply for the extension of dependent visa. Thanks and keep supporting.
@ClarisseGaokin not necessarily and on most cases a no because main applicant is the actual sponsorer for dependent not the organisation. Thanks and keep supporting.
Hi, I got my ILR last month and now applying for my wife and sons ILR. My wife is working here in the UK. Do I need to submit my or my wife's salary slips? I didn't see it in the documents required list but wanted to double check. Thanks in advance.
Yours is compulsory as they are dependent, you could add your wife’s to show the financial stability but make sure both are clearly labelled. Thanks and keep supporting.
@@1SSInU I switched my visa from tier 5 to tier 2 in 2019 by going to India alone(my wife and son were in the UK) Once I got it I came back to the UK and applied for their dependent visa. In my wife's ILR application for the question 'Date you entered the UK' I am entering 18th June 2019, this was the date on the home office letter which mentioned that their tier 2 dependent visa was approved. Is that correct? Do I need to provide a cover letter to explain this?
@@cheten44 hope the first BRP based on tier 2 had the same date or earlier, in most cases it will be same date as of to letter, just make sure of it once and yes that would be the date you would be using for “Date you entered the UK” and it’s not necessary that you need to add a cover letter as case worker would irrespectively check the complete immigration history but it might be a good addition.
@@1SSInU Thanks for your response. The date on first BRP was of July due to some delay from home office . Tier 2 dependent visa approval letter was sent on 18th June but the BRP was sent in July once we informed that we didn't receive the BRP , we have email communication as a proof.
So for an example if you consider me as the dependent applying for the ILR, the questions requests, has my partner had any visas based on a relationship with someone who was settled in UK (has my partner been on a spouse or a dependent visa previously) Hope this helps, keep supporting.
Sorry we don’t offer that service yet, anything you could comment out here and we will try to help or you can do your own research. Thanks and keep supporting.

I have same situation as yours. How can we extend tier 2 dependant visa if main applicant is Due for ILR . Isn’t it we need COS to extend?

@@cheten44 then no worries you can add the letter from home office as a proof, that should suffice.
