Lol! I do that all the time, I can’t even do a natural look with a neutral palette lol. Once I know I’ve gone in too deep with the eyes I just slap on the falsies and head out the door...oh well haha.

I prefer when you don’t scrap a “rough” video. It’s more realistic and honestly that’s what we want to see. We want to see if products don’t work or don’t work with your skin type if we have similar skin types or similar makeup preferences.
Totally understandable! Sometimes when my makeup application goes wrong I get discouraged to keep going but wanted to show issues I personally had to give y’all a heads up and show how I’d remedy them ❤️

@@amylynngriffith yes absolutely! I actually rarely purchase new makeup anymore. My makeup addiction was getting out of hand so I have gone from spending $100s a months to now rarely purchasing because there’s just no way I can ever use it all. But the makeup channels I watch at this point are not really for the makeup, it is for the person.

I agree re: Nimya packaging, it reminds me of Noxema or Nivea packaging - which makes me think, “dated”. It even made me think of something more medicinal that you’d find in the drugstore like eardrops or something.

Very good video, as always! From the Nimya line I only use the stick and spray. I'm keeping the stick in the fridge to get better effects, it doesn't wow me though. Setting spray smells beautiful but I don't use it directly on my face because of the large drops, I use it on a sponge instead. It doesn't do as good as setting spray from CT.
That residue happened to me when I applied facial oil and Ordinary niacinamide before foundation.
Hot take, but I kinda enjoy the Nikkie packaging! As a guy who really enjoys makeup, this is one of the first launches ever that really feels from the beginning, designed without gender of the applier in mind. Excited to see what else she releases!

I love the BKxAngie Hot and Flashy brush set. They are awesome for hooded eyes. One of Lisa J videos about them she said they do intend to offer them individually in a couple months. I always love your Trying New Makeup videos! You have such a great assortment of products. I was excited to see the Lunar Beauty palette the most. For some reason the Nikki Tutorials brand didn’t get me overly excited but I was happy to hear your thoughts. I’m dying to try the BK & Angie from Hot & Flashy colander. Oh, and the lip products aren’t BK’s first makeup release. They released an eyeshadow palette named “True Beauty.” I just wanted to add this incase anyone was wondering!! Try TULA cooling under eye balms (I prefer the original) it’s so worth it if you like the idea of a stick eye cream, no tug, refreshing, and it’s a bit smaller like you were looking for ! :)

Agree with you about adding shades to the BK Beauty lipsticks and liners. I hope Lisa does that. I wear lipstick in peachy shades and brown/toffee nude liners too! I haven't rec'd my order yet and know I'll love it but only ordered one lipstick and 1 liner due to the shade range.

Love the pink look! So pretty! I picked up the Bitchcraft lip gloss last month and love it, on its own or over lipsticks. It's not sticky, smells wonderful and really keeps my lips hydrated.

I agree… the Nimya package is very dated and off putting. A little… masculine? I wanna feel girly and beautiful and as you stated it reminds of axe body spray which doesn’t make me wanna reach for it. It also reminds me of the old Noxema. Thank you for an honest review.
