production tip: next time for an arrangement like this on the chorus try layering the guitar part on a nylon string guitar (or another identical take panned wider in the chorus and a little more toward the center in the verse), shaker instead of the metal chimes, and a little more 300-500 hz then around 2-3k in the kick drum (maybe layer the 808 with a rock kick drum sample?). Nice performance though, on point as always.

I agree the production is always a little off in my opinion. as an instrumentalist I find it very frustrating. I think that drake cover was the worst for guitar playing. Clumsy and varying emphasis. but his voice is always a pleasure to listen to. will be great when he gets more instrument based musicians to collaborate with. or just do backing.

i knew this wouldn't disappoint.
He did a great job. But stylistically his voice is smooth RnB & I'd just love him to do more of that. He could evoke so much emotion into it with barely any effort & the vocals would be so great. Some of the pop stuff just holds him back. Like that Bieber cover. His voice is much stronger & just all around better than Biebers. Bieber also basically speak sings that song & a bunch of his music. So it's hard to adjust to that, when you have a much more powerful voice. It just sounds odd & like you're trying to under sing.
