Thanks ...... I was wondering as I usually use the elk hair as it takes more weight or is less likely to drown but will give your fly ago next time I am out . Only fished the duo a few times will give the dry a shot on the dropper instead of tying off the back of the hook . Tight lines keep the videos coming 👌👌👍👍👍
great looking fly thanks for sharing
Great series Tom, keep it up
Ioving these! Would love to see some nymph variations etc :)
It's coming haha!
Good fly mate, will tie in Dry July
bravo
What size of fly does your sedge hold up ? 1mm-2.8mm? When fishing the duo
2.5mm typically, 2.8mm would be fine with a bit off current and lift but would probably fish another dry

Do you use dyed cdc or natural thanks
I always go natural if I can, that way it won’t fade on me in the sun or when treated with floatants etc
@@tomjarmanfishing3208 Thanks Tom that is very helpful I have never used cdc befor
What do you use for floatant with CDC?
I just gel floatant for pre treating, then powder for drying after fish have eaten it!
I made one and it nosed dived 😂 I’m rubbish 😂
