They've said many times why they haven't put chat in yet. It has to do with certifications with Xbox and PlayStation. If you played on the pts or Flash test whatever you want to call it they already have it implemented I'll be at a rudimentary version of it it'll be out in the open beta

I really hope they lean into aspects, allowing for more gods to be viable in a bunch of roles. I think they should just embrace that wackiness and that should smites niche in the moba world, just a bunch of whacky builds being smacked on top of fun aspects. It has a lot of potential

what confuse me the most is that most people, I would assume 90% of people who play smite 2 has played smite 1 and SHOULD know what they're doing but I swear these people have never played smite in their lifes and walk around like it's a new game with completely different objectives then just go to your lane and done feed.
try playing smite 2 during peak hours, or just grind ranked for a bit, ideally with a couple friends so you can raise your sr as much as possible. once you get to diamond+ the matchmaking is shockingly good considering the player count

no the issue is having a proper filter to be able to find people saying slurs and trying to get around the filter and what not, it doesnt have anything to do with UE5
