Paul, That's a beautiful reaction to that stunning performance by Emma, and yes, you very much touched just about every aspect of that performance in your comments, and I thank you for that, it was a pleasure to listen to someone else who is as moved and impressed as I have been since hearing her last year, and the time she's spent with Andre has indeed been a good time, while she's been delivering wonderful performances at every concert she's appeared at, she has also very much taken the opportunity to watch, listen and learn from the cream of the cream, Andre is a perfectionist where his concerts are concerned, and Emma is a soul sister, she too won't settle for anything less than the best, and now, with this Disney performance, and her stunning song from the Andre Maastricht concert, Dancing on the stars, it's clear that she has been learning a lot, and now is delivering what she's learned, she's moved the bar that defines perfection to a new level, and then given a gold medal performance that substantially cleared even the new height she'd set it to. Both of her recent performances have been incredibly powerful, but so much more, it's clear that Emma is completely comfortable and relaxed on stage, the professionalism is just sublime, the manner of her delivery is so much better than would be expected from a 16 year old, she is showing us just how driven and determined she is, despite all the challenges she faces because of gastroparesis, she puts a performance on for whoever it is that she is there for, and that performance is always stunningly good, and now, she's added in the new techniques she's clearly been working on over the last while, the range of her belting voice is even higher, and I can't begin to work out how she's found the physical strength to sustain those long high notes that she's closing out recent performances with, and as for her stage presence, the end of this performance was so good, she more than punched the air in triumph, she absolutely showed how much control and confidence she has, and makes it look so effortless, it isn't, she is very much working hard to deliver such quality, but it's more than clear that she knows exactly what she's capable of, what she wants to achieve, and how she's going to deliver it, a consummate professional who is very much destined for much bigger things to come, the only thing that could hold her back is gastroparesis, and the very real limit on her stamina that it causes, and the 22 hours a day she has to be on the feeding pump system. I'm getting nervous of saying this, as there's been no update from Andre since Maastricht, which is strange, but I'd like to hope that he will still have Emma as part of his 2025 world tour, but that's not been confirmed yet. If he does, then Emma will probably be the first 16 year old singer to appear as a star on two consecutive weekends in the Ziggodome in Amsterdam, she's there on Jan 4 with the Disney concert, and then, the following weekend, Andre Rieu will be starting his 2025 world tour at the same venue, and if Emma is a part of that line up, it will be an indication of just how much her star has risen, and how much visibility she now has. I will mention one song she recorded in her home studio a while ago, a Disney song from the film, 'The Little Mermaid', 'Part of your world,' th-cam.com/video/itxs-aNyRJY/w-d-xo.html where Ariel is expressing her deep, desperate desire for a total change of her life circumstances, to be able to walk on land, rather than swimming in water, and this theme very much resonated with Emma because of her own life situation, she is desperate to be free of the restrictions of gastroparesis and tube feeding, free of the pain that is a constant accompaniment, and free of the intense pain she feels every 5 months when her feeding tubes and the 'Micky button', the stoma interface that gets the tubes into her body, they are replaced without anaesthetic, Emma no longer allows that because of the risk of damage to her voice, and recently, only days before her first appearance this year in Maastricht, her tubes were changed, but the procedure didn't go according to plan, so instead of around 20 minutes of intense pain, she ended up having to endure nearly 90 minutes of treatment, as the tubes got twisted, and it was very evident the next day from the videos of the rehearsals that she was struggling with both the temperature and her stamina, but she refused to give in to it, and still delivered what Andre needed for that time, but it served to show just how delicate a balance she has to live with just to perform on the stage that she so loves. The only thing that can stop Emma now is her health, and that's why I am going to repeat my normal appeal to everyone listening or reading, if at all possible, please make a (regular) donation to Emma's foundation, who are working to find better treatments, or ideally, a cure for the illness that at the moment has no cure, and also can have devastating implications for sufferers, many of whom have taken their own lives as a result of the intense pressure and stress that the discipline of living with gastroparesis imposes on them. Emma has been tied to external feeding pumps since she was 9 months old for 22 hours a day carrying the equivalent of a boat anchor around with her, when she was younger, she had to use a small trolley to move them around, as she couldn't physically carry them, and that resulted in a lot of bullying and verbal abuse from her peers, so much so that she needed professional help to get through that time, now, she is an incredible advocate for people who are disadvantaged. I know from recent social media posts, she still finds the unrelenting daily limitations of tube feeding incredibly hard to cope with at times, despite that she's loving the singing with Andre, which she regards as her therapy. She posted some heart breaking photos and comments from her holiday in Portugal, having to use her wheelchair after a time swimming, even then, at a time when the family were relaxing and enjoying a break away from their normal lives, Emma had no relief, no escape from the mental and physical pain of having to live with the numbing discipline of the 22 hours every day with the pumps attached to her, her ongoing lack of stamina that hugely limits and impacts on her life and desire to be free, and she never talks about the physical pain that so often is a side effect of the failure of her stomach to properly process the contents, or the indescribable pain of the procedure to replace her feeding tubes. Emma's foundation can be found at gastrostars.nl They are a dedicated team that includes a surgeon with a lot of experience treating this disease, and she is also a sufferer, so understands only too well the issues that patients face, and she's had to stop working as a surgeon as a result of her own health declining, she's now working full time with the foundation. Please also be very careful if you post or respond to anything from Emma on social media, her increased visibility has resulted in significant numbers of bad actors creating fake accounts, and looking for money to fund 'special operations', or the like, the ONLY valid web site that supports Emma and others like her is the gastrostars site, anything else is fake and fraudulent, and beneath contempt, please report them. It will be so good if the work of Emma's foundation can lead to a better treatment, or even a cure, which will free her to do more singing, and it may be people here who make that possible.
Hello Steve, I have a strange question for you. I love and follow Emma from the begin when I saw her the first time in The Voice Kids, she stole my heart and I did many phonecalls to let her win. Since then I follow her in everything I can, I live also in The Netherlands. I am older and don't kno0w how to work with internet well. You can that very well. I want to ask if you can send a few of her reactors who really care for her and probably miss the last performance of Emma Disney in Concert to send them a link. That are 1. Jack's Reaction, an Italian vocal coach who gave a very good reaction to Emma's Part of Your World and he hoped that Disney ask her for next productions ( 16.01 )2 Alex N Channel who follows Emma from the begin, has more than 1,4 million revieuws for Voila and has many reactions for Emma's soongs and a playlist. 3. Lauren Reacts, from Chicago, she loves Emma and can do much foir her in the States. 4. DonVon also a nice reacter and vocal coach from the States who also knew what it means to have the illness Emma has, beside he was so happy to hear her and said immediately: Mind my words, she is a great one and she will certainly become a Disney Princess. he was convinced about that. These are reactors in who I believe and is good for Emma, more people to know her by these reactors. Can you do that for me and Emma? I hope so, thank you for everything you do, it's all about the latest song from Disney in Concert. Thank you for everything you do for Emma, all the best
@@JohannaCatharinavandenBlink Hi, I'm up to my eyes for a few days, but I will have a look at the reactors, though I can tell you now that one of them will NOT be getting anything from me going forward, I was impressed with Alex N a while back, but he's now not allowing any comments on reactions about Emma, and it would appear that his only interest now in Emma is to monetise her for his own gain, and while I'm prepared to help reactors who are involved with Emma in a good way, I will NOT work with a reactor who is deliberately blocking any comments to his reactions, and effectively preventing mentions of her foundation, which is so important going forward, so I'm sorry, since he started blocking comments, I am not even looking at his reactions, they may be absolutely wonderful, but if he won't allow comments, he's off my list until that policy changes. It was actually worse than that, I spend a lot of time trying to make my comments appropriate, and that's not quick or easy, and Alex N deleted my comments on one of Emma's videos a while after they'd been uploaded, and I resent spending my time on comments to be treated like that, and despite a couple of E-mails, he's never responded, so two can play that game, and I have noticed that since he started blocking comments, his reactions are no longer being pushed out in my feeds and searches, so hopefully, it's hurting his views. I will look at the other names, I think I recognise some of them, but the next few days are going to be busy due to work going on here at the home. I am very much motivated to try and get support for Emma, she has very much impressed me with her drive and determination to not allow gastroparesis to define her life. I have to admit to being worried about the future, I'm just hoping that she will still be with Andre after the end of the 2024 world tour, there's been an unhelpful silence from both Andre and Emma about the future plans, I'd be sad to see that wonderful relationship curtailed, Emma is such a good fit with Andre and the JSO, it would be a sad day if he was to reduce her involvement at this stage. We've got tickets booked for the Christmas show in Maastricht, not an easy thing to do from Ireland, I hope that she will be there this year, and that it won't be the end of Emma's involvement with Andre, while she may well get other work, with the huge restrictions on her time because of gastroparesis, I can't easily envisage her being able to get the exposure that she has been able to get by being a very visible and effective part of Andre's team at the JSO.
@@stevecgarry Dear Steve ( The name of my son is Stephan by the way ), First of all, thank you for your reaction, I just saw it and reacted immediately. First of all I have to say that I really don't know anything about computers and how to work with. My old laptop was installed by my son ( using Windows system ) that I never had to do something than react. Last year my laptop was damaged and my son bought a standard secondhand Apple. Since then I can't use mail because another password is needed my son said and I lost that in the past years. To make a new mail address or password takes a lot of time he said and he has not time enough now so more than 1 year I can't mail. I also wanted to mail with David Exeter but I can do it only in this way. Suddenly I saw your messages appear in my mailbox but don't know how to react correct. You can mark your answer, I also want to do that but don't know how. Can you explain that to me before I go on to make a little more private talk possible? David also asked that to me to have more some privacy but I don't know how. My own fault, I always hated computers and being online, I am a little old-fashioned I think. I'm also always careful when other people can read our messages, I'm sure you understand that. I am happy that you made contact and will respond what you have written. For healthy issues I'm always careful because I have been a registrated Intensive Care nurse for almost 50 years. Thinking about Emma is always thinking about her health although mentally health is very important and singing is very important for her. We'll talk about more if you like it. I'm looking forward to your answer and understand all what you have written and agree with it. Looking forward to your next mail, Anja.
Thanks for the reaction and the kind words❤. She is Princess Nightingale given her story. In January she will be a special guest at Disney in concert in the Ziggo Dome. This was a small demo. God bless
Heads up - her family name is pronounced as 'Cock' in English, not Cook. She speaks 3 languages fluently - Dutch, English and German also the local the dialect which is quite different to main stream Dutch. The youngest of 3 she was born with the stomach problem which was diagnosed when she was 9 months. Since then she has been on feeding tubes - never eating or drinking as most people do. The whole family love and support her, now she is blossoming like no one would ever have expected. One of her songs is 'Warrior', very appropriate for Emma, written by her and her friend Tjeerd Oousterhuis. They also did 'Butterfly' (Vlinder) and 'Dancing on the stars' was written by Tjeerd before Emma was born! She is very very dedicated to her craft and extremely self critical, reviewing everything she does afterwards.
Thank you for your great reaction. What Emma can do for the world is amazing. Her strength, her heart and the soul that she expresses in her singing. I don't know if she sang the following two performances at a concert in honor of fallen soldiers?! I find them so moving. Yes, she did it for the soldiers and also everyone in the war who tried to help other people who were in danger, risking their own lives. Today I also think because it is 9/ 11 of all the people who tried to save other lives knowing that they probably could not save their own, so much courage and love. Please pray for them if you can and want to❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
Thanks for this comment, this is definitely Emma's style of music if you watch this performance (th-cam.com/video/itxs-aNyRJY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=lNdIMtIiL1yVvr7L ) . Beautifully sung by the princess Emma.
She has been on a world tour with Andre and performed for millions of people. Then you grow as an artist and in confidence, but she already was, the Grand Little Lady. But let me contradict you, of stage she is severely limited in what she can do. When she has a performance she saves her energy half a day and then can show power on stage. She is on the pumps until she goes on stage and back on immediately after. She is well guarded and in her home town she will be treated with respect. She is THEIR Emma and don't you dare.
Emma posted a photo of her at her friends wedding and mentioned at the end that her friend asked her to sing a song there. Hopefully someone will have taped it and hopefully Emma will share it. Is there a way to let you know if one comes out other than posting in this video ?

where Ariel is expressing her deep, desperate desire for a total change of her life circumstances, to be able to walk on land, rather than swimming in water, and this theme very much resonated with Emma because of her own life situation, she is desperate to be free of the restrictions of gastroparesis and tube feeding, free of the pain that is a constant accompaniment, and free of the intense pain she feels every 5 months when her feeding tubes and the 'Micky button', the stoma interface that gets the tubes into her body, they are replaced without anaesthetic, Emma no longer allows that because of the risk of damage to her voice, and recently, only days before her first appearance this year in Maastricht, her tubes were changed, but the procedure didn't go according to plan, so instead of around 20 minutes of intense pain, she ended up having to endure nearly 90 minutes of treatment, as the tubes got twisted, and it was very evident the next day from the videos of the rehearsals that she was struggling with both the temperature and her stamina, but she refused to give in to it, and still delivered what Andre needed for that time, but it served to show just how delicate a balance she has to live with just to perform on the stage that she so loves.
Emma's foundation can be found at gastrostars.nl
They are a dedicated team that includes a surgeon with a lot of experience treating this disease, and she is also a sufferer, so understands only too well the issues that patients face, and she's had to stop working as a surgeon as a result of her own health declining, she's now working full time with the foundation.
She is now a Disney princess!
No, she is a Fairy Princess, not a fake Disney product but a real one. The one and only Emma.
Thanks for the correction. I appreciate it.
To be honest, there are only some performances in several TV shows but no songs I have seen on national music stations nor on the radio on any charts.
Thank you for your great reaction. What Emma can do for the world is amazing. Her strength, her heart and the soul that she expresses in her singing. I don't know if she sang the following two performances at a concert in honor of fallen soldiers?! I find them so moving. No. 1 th-cam.com/video/NIXB7TbeMvw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=PKYliJWfsr-Grpgd No. 2 th-cam.com/video/y554GsqMHj8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=05RQbGY-gZ5bw4Tq
Yes, she did it for the soldiers and also everyone in the war who tried to help other people who were in danger, risking their own lives. Today I also think because it is 9/ 11 of all the people who tried to save other lives knowing that they probably could not save their own, so much courage and love. Please pray for them if you can and want to❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
The video of Voila has 69 million views and they traveled the world. And they all love her. So do I.
🤗🍒🌹 great job
Sure. You can email me. Click on my channel name in any video. Then click on More. You'll find my address down near the bottom of that page.
It's just a shame that the people responsible for the sound were sleeping
