People seem to forget the Charger Daytona came first and what inspired the Superbird Road Runner.
I would rather have a Daytona
Thanks for a Super upload, you pick great clips, well edited with great info. Best wishes to the uploader, loved ones and fellow viewers ❤❤❤.
THANKS! ❤️❤️👍
@@American.legends My pleasure.
It's been decades since I saw one of these on the road. My neighbor had a white one in 70 or 71.
yup, they are very rare
1971, the Superturd had a small block engine in NASCAR and only ran one race and lost.
As a young man I wanted one so bad! Still love them and way out of my affordable range
we all want it, and we all can't afford it 🤧
Dealers struggled to sell them A few dealers even removed the aero stuff in order to get rid of theirs at a loss.
Insurance costs and the oil embargo in 1973 is what killed muscle car followed by the EPA starting to mandate fuel mileage.
They never did 200 mph in an actual race, though.
IN 1971 A DEALERSHIP IN MICHIGAN OFFERED ME 3 SUPERBIRDS FOR $10,00...TOTAL...HINDSIGHT??
"Di-fire-rant direction"? AI voicing is getting a little better, but still no cigar.
the Dodge Dayton Is the best, the Superbird is nothing but a copycat
Ford aero cars were better.
