Back in the early 2000's Madchild was in a group named Swollen Members they were chart toppers and even at one point were on smackdown versus raw game with their song Heavy. I use to listen to them alot Madchild doesn't lie when he says he blew a ton of cash in the other song a bit of background for those who didn't know him before Tom.

Correct about the auto tune. Everyone gets it wrong as autotune is a program. What most people mean when they say autotune is pitch correction, which itself can't make you a good singer. All pitch correction does is correct one or two notes that were a little off in a recording so you don't have to go back in and record it again. T-Pain uses autotune really well and he can sing extremely well without any assistance (dearth T-Pain sings in interview to see an example). Conclusion: Autotune is an effect and a program whereas pitch correction could be any number of programs and is primarily used to correct a couple notes in an otherwise perfect recording.
