I have never in my life met anyone that prays looking up to the ceiling. Why is this done in movies? Its unnatural. You BOW your head in reverence, submission and hallowed respect. And if you're alone you pretty much always CLOSE your eyes. Because then you're less distracted by your surroundings.
And you don't talk to God out loud. One of the reasons for that is actually instinctual. Satan can't hear you when you pray silently to God. But Satan CAN hear you when you talk and write. And your body language. Prayer is a special elevated plain that Satan can't intrude upon.
Sex & drug use, mentions off-screen violence. VERY minimal, but may not be suitable for kids. Good acting (definitely not B movie style), believable characters you really feel for. Good ending. Overall worth a watch.
