Dani and Ashley together are just adorable! Nice to see Kalilah, and Will appear more often. Alex too but Martine back after a bit of an absence is AWESOME!
There's a joke about how Taylor Swift writes songs about her ex's, but Stevie Nicks not only writes songs about her ex, but makes him play guitar for those songs onstage.
And yet Gen Z completely trashes Lindsey Buckingham, despite the fact that he was also hurt by the break up, and also wrote songs about HIS side of the story
And he left her or there to dry. If they made a decision it was THEM and they were close at that time. Then why didn't he stand with her? That is what pissed me off!
Martine, that is why I like you on these episodes so, so much! Round 2 and you're not even trying! I LOVE it! Music plays and the head and shoulders get in on the act. I'm not sure about knees and toes because they're hidden under the table, but I'm sure they're joining the party. Lol
Don’t forget Queen Live Aid Performance before Mercury’s passing came later on 1991. To me, it’s the #1 whenever you think of the best performance in music history.
yo, React, i'm really happy for you, imma let you finish but Lady Gaga’s 2009 VMA performance was one of the best performances of all time! one of the best performances of all time!!
Stevie Nicks singing the song she wrote about him breaking her heart TO HIS FACE, in front of God and everyone is absolutely ICONIC. I rocked my daughter to sleep to this song and now I'm rocking my daughter's daughter to this song. ICONIC!!!
Such a great Music Video Playlist! I appreciate their level of commitment to put on a memorable show by doing things like holding a python, telling their life stories in front of a crowd as a stranger, and literally performing on a bed.
The Metallica one where the crowd was huge. And it's called Enter Sandman. It was after the Berlin Wall came down. And Pantera was also part of the concert.
There's gotta be a second part for this. So many great live performances missing - Queen Live Aid, Nirvana Unplugged, Iron Maiden at Rock In Rio, anything by Rammstein...
What about Jimi Hendrix performing the national anthem at Woodstock 69? I also thought of Queen at Live Aid. There’s also The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show or The Beatles Concert on the Rooftop. Clearly we need a part 2.
Hold on, so I get that these people don’t know who Metallica is but the person with the “FACTS” is just so wrong. This performance did NOT blow up Metallica, their black album and constant touring around the world is what did that. Also there are more interesting facts about this show 1. It was a festival, other bands to play were Pantera, The Black Crows, and AC/DC closed the show. 2. It was a free concert 3. The concert was a gift to the “young people”. There was an attempted coup to seize control away from Mikhail Gorbachev. People protested this coup and stood in the way of tanks, the coup failed. Gorbachev asked the youth what he could give to them and they asked for a rock concert. This is that concert.
I'll say a personal favorite for me in terms of live performances was when Alicia Keys, Stevie Wonder and Lenny Kravitz got so FUNKY performing Higher Ground at the 2004 VMAs
The best part about Dave Growl falling off the stage and continuing the performance is that he sang "walk" afterwards in which the lyrics r "learning to walk again"😂
OK here’s some thing that makes the Fleetwood Mac thing even crazier. The other couple that were in the band or married and they were going through a divorce around the same time so Lindsay and Stevie were breaking up and the other couple who were married we’re going through a divorce
Stevie didn't tell anyone that she was going to sing straight to Lyndsey. Also she was getting him back for making her sing a few songs about her, by making him sing and play the song about him.
When I saw Queen/Adam Lambert live it was raining for the majority of their show. It was only a light rain but it looked absolutely amazing mixed with the lights and pyrotechnics.
The swift quake also had a stadium with double (or more)the amount of people in the stadium as the field was completely full and it was only the stands for the beast quake.
16:27 Fleetwood Mac is one of my favorite bands! When I lived on First Floor Frees on Doane Unversity in 1999-2000, my roommate and I used to listen to this song a lot! He taught me so much about classic rock!
That crowd was huge...AC/DC, Metallica, the Black Crowes, and Pantera all performed, & the metal band Electro Shock Therapy represented the Soviet Union.. 💜🖤💜
One live show that should have been on here was when Pink Floyd performed in Pompeii back in 1972 for absolutely no one. It's so breathtaking and electric and haunting.
Where is MJ at the Superbowl? Prince at the Superbowl? Live Aid? Or any of the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert (Mainly Bohemian Rhapsody that was Queen, Sir Elton John and Axl Rose) Where are ANY OF THESE iconic and crazy live performances?
Thank you for putting that Metallica concert in this, is so underrated for not being commercial music, it breaks my heart when someone doesn¡t know about stuff they did like that one time.
I remember watching the Britney-Madona-Christina performance when it first happened, and the reason it was such a "shock value" moment is because people already knew Christina was openly bisexual. So seeing her and Madonna kiss was no biggie. But BRITNEY on the other hand? That was new territory and people just ate it up.
I was the only person at the super bowl party watching the justin and janet performance...and no one believed me at first...until it was on the news later. Lol
This was a great episode!! Metallica U2 Fleetwood Mac Eminem. I'm glad there weren't any consequences because Martine would've been in trouble. Lol I know I wouldn't have made it.
The thing that still doesn’t make sense is that Justin was welcomed back a couple times but Janet is still barred from performing again at the Super Bowl.. it’s clear why they won’t let her come back and perform
Highly likely due to sexism. Also, is it just me, or does it look like Justin was actively harassing Janet while she was looking uncomfortable and constantly walking away from him? I wonder if that was consented or what cuz this is the first time I saw this
@@crow3769 🤷🏾♂️ myself I seen the performance live and a few times after.. I don’t know if it was part of the performance or what.. but yeah.. it’s been 20 years since that happened and there is no reason why Janet can’t perform again
It's probably cause he had his ass grabbed and was ground into but no body parts made it on the screen. But have we considered that maybe it's Janet who doesn't wanna go anymore? Or has that been covered and I missed it?
@@m0t0b33 what are you even talkin about and what does pride have to do with this. Secondly this is about how the NFL can let Justin come back but Janet can’t

Based on what my 8-9 year old self remembered of her album collection, Fleetwood Mac was one of my birth mom's favorite bands. The Cars, Rolling Stones, and The Who as well.

Madonna also kissed Christina in the same performance but the cameras barely caught the end of it because they had been focused on Justin's face.
No Queen at Live Aid?? Doesn't get more iconic than that.
That, MJ’s Super Bowl Halftime show performance, and Prince’s Super Bowl Halftime show performance were the iconic ones for crazy live performances.
Absolutely
Queen at Rock in Rio is crazy! Love of my life sang by the audience
I clicked specifically for a Queen performance
The fact that janet got so much shit for something jt did is insane

How is queen not included in here, their live aid performance alone is iconic!!!
For me the most iconic Queen show was in Rock in Rio, specially when he sings "Love of My Life".
Not only that, but both MJ and Prince alongside with Queen. All of these 3 carry huge live performances in music history.
Not controversial but Prince singing Purple Rain in the rain at the Super Bowl probably one of the best
Respect to the Goo Goo Dolls, but Prince was really insane.
MJ’s Super Bowl Halftime Show performance, that’s the best one for Super Bowl.

Lady Gaga's paparazzi performance covered in blood comes to mind, actually, a lot of Gaga's performances come to mind.
That was the first performance that came to mind for me
It wasn't the kiss it was kisses. She kissed both, and because they cut to show justin's reaction they missed the kiss of Christina.
P!nk performing on the side the skyscraper should’ve been part of this, especially because she didn’t even lip sync.
To miss out Queen's Live Aid performance was a big oversight.

The Dave Grohl moment is arguably the most Rock n Roll thing ever. Sure dude was probably high as a kite but thats even more Rock n Roll 😆.

The fact they didn’t show the clip in the Metallica Moscow show of the helicopter hovering like 100ft above the crowd was a missed opportunity 😅
