Wow! You and your girls look so beautiful 😍😍😍 I’m gonna send this video to all my Naija friends - they’ll really enjoy seeing this parade and all the festivities 🥳 Fernelle
Your outfit is really beautiful especially your earrings happy dependence to Nigeria 🇳🇬 I love this thank you so much for sharing with us my beautiful mama ❤️💃🏿 this is so beautiful I love the colorful outfits and the dancing ooo
The festival looked fun. The parade was nice. The food looked amazing. I bet it taste amazing as well. My kids would have loved that bounce house. The dancing at the end was great. Happy 59 birthday Nigeria
I see so many similarities in both our cultures. We do similar dances for our big drum festival and carifesta. We also have an annual event called maroon festival, where we do similar dances and food. The guy dressed in the costume towards the end with his face covered is called a vecoux(pronounces as veco) in our culture. It’s so true that our ancestors brought their culture, food etc, when they made that treacherous journey from West Africa to the Caribbean.
DNVlogsLife TV, wowwww!! The similarities are so many. As we say here in the Caribbean, they may have taken us outta Africa, but they can’t take Africa out of us. Happy Independence Day to your home country
I loved watching this. Everyone seemed to have so much fun. It was fund watching husband dance. It would be great a dancing video from you guys. Thanks for sharing Nigeria Day with us! Blessings!

God bless Nigeria. I pray the Lord will heal our land and make her latter glory to surpass the former in Jesus name. What a colorful gathering. Tnx sis for carrying us along.
Of course, if any country wants to do a festival in any other country they can. In Houston, lots of countries do festivals. For example, here is a Chinese one we went to last year th-cam.com/video/DZGYxK0WmZU/w-d-xo.html
Some many cultures come to the US and are able to do their festivals... I'm quite doubtful that black Americans would be able to go to any other country and do festival, If we wanted to. sorry I just don't have confidence in that belief. Other cultures yes definitely, but black Americans I doubt it. I'd have to see it to believe it.sorry.
@@DNVlogsLife ...I've been living here ...born here 44 almost 45 years...I'm aware of all of the other cultural festivals here....lol...not Neccessary to put links for Chinese Festival...lol...many giggles 😊no harm intended.
