      Hey my man. Been watching your reviews a long time. You need to check out bill beaulieu boxing. Prob best custom boxing line out there. He taught alot of the custom brand names now how to actually make gloves and learned from Flores nephew how to make gloves. Check him out I own 2 pairs and might be just as good as my winnings.

    • @vedder10
      @vedder10 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@88chimes I purchased both in 16oz. I wanted the weight for conditioning purposes. The difference between the two comes down to padding. The Win1 version makes so much difference with respect to hand protection. My right hand gets sore with other gloves including the Alien. With the Win1 I can punch the bag with a sore hand and never feel any pain. However the Alien does give you more feedback and crack on the bag. I'm not a boxer I just use these gloves for Fight Camp to lose weight through heavy bag workouts.

    From what I heard, he uses different padding for the 16 oz gloves because he assumes they will be used for sparring. The lighter gloves (12 oz and such) have different padding. I don't know what type of padding, just that 16 oz is different from the rest. (This is what I was told.)

    • @lancefury
      @lancefury ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@gravel89-94 I have both, the padding in front is the same, almost no difference. It's the padding at the back of the wrist that is heavier for the 16oz. I also have the Win1 14oz which has a longer lasting padding than the 16oz sparring version.

      @@lancefury do you find the win1 14oz more protective than the alien 14oz?

    • @lancefury
      @lancefury ปีที่แล้ว

      @@gravel89-94 win 1 is bigger, more cushioning, and protects better when your guard is up. Aliens are slimmer, easier to sleep through guards, but more impact can pass through your guard. I hit the bag hard with both and my hands are very well protected. I would say they are both very protective and conforms to my hands like a second skin, but win 1 absorbs more impact while aliens have that latex bang on the bags that cleto Reyes or Grants have.

  • @damirpejinovic6693

    I´ve owned 4 pairs from 10 to 14 ounces, win and alien and the padding usually only lasts 6 months before caving in. I should say I hit the bag 6 times a week, aproximatelly 8-10 rounds every session ( I weigh 74 kg). Great gloves in the beginning, especially the Win version ( do like how you can fell the punches connect with the alien version, but my hands are not made for that kind of glove anymore), but not long lasting, if you dont alternate with several different gloves.

      A Great glove that I am unsure if they make anymore, is Boxing Classics. Handmade mexican style glove, but with better padding for your hands. Fantastic gloves for a Great price. Got the e-mail adress from a friend and contacted the guy making them (he didnt have a homepage or anything) 7 weeks later my gloves arrived from mexico. Bought 3 pairs from him through the years.
