When I started the game I turned the difficulty up to Expert thinking it would be too easy for me. I then proceeded to get my butt handed to me by a bunch of trees.
You can also use the pulse to gather the courage orbs that have been dropped. It’s much quicker and safer than trying to walk over them. Also, I’m surprised you didn’t mention spamming the double-jump and then using your bow to slow time, so you can more easily line up precision shots on the weak points of the enemy.
Man the difficulty spikes in this one are real haha. Love the art style and the environments for sure. Don’t love getting two or three shot by bosses but it’s whatever. Wish the healing wasn’t so obtuse.
@@dextertails2942 use R3 to lock on, but it’s not very useful as you usually face swarms of enemies. It’s helpful in boss fights when they move quickly and you lose sight of them.
One of the bosses with a throw able weapon in the mountains has some auto lock it's near impossible to dodge as the attack sort of homes in even from a distance
What I want from Kena 2 More complex uses of the Rot dynamics More type of collectibles More story About Kena herself Small increases to combat If ember labs do this they will have a great franchise in thier hands.
still waiting for it to download but it looks good and I can't wait to play it. everyone seems to be comparing it to old nin64 games probably because of the rot/pikemen element but clearly, it's a cute version of god of war.
How do make combat hard? Let's have one or zero heals per fight! I've played and finished multiple soulslike games but this one I quit not because it was hard but I didn't want to reward bad combat mechanics.
only just started this game, going on story mode as want to see story, fighting too easy so bumping it up next time i play especially seeing combat gets harder (mechanic wise) even though simple to other games.
Much longer to beat on higher difficulties especially when going after all side quests. I'd place it closer to 15-20. Overall, it's a phenomenal experience.
@@letsplayerslayer972 THIS! SAME! i have Valhalla too waiting for me, and Tales of Arise, and Yakuza like a dragon and so on, so many games with 40+hs to finish, i cant.

What lol I'm on expert and it's still so easy
@@sergionativ485 good for you. Have you tried the higher difficulty yet? What’s been your favorite fight (without spoilers)?
@@sergionativ485 once you beat it you getsa master difficulty
Accurate lmao

Thanks, for the tips... Especially, the one about how you have to use bombs on certain enemies to expose weak points.
Just bought this at 40% off. Having a blast right now.
It took me waaay too long to realize the candles were the key in that one puzzle... 🤦🏻♂️

Was surprised how challenging the combat is 8n this game.
2:03 game me a heart attack , dead pixel.
I got stuck on the shrine guardian boss while playing on Master difficulty. I think I won’t get platinum on that game :/
The camera in my game won’t stop closing up on her; I have to keep readjusting it. What the heck is up with this
any more games like this ? recommendation anyone ? tia
Half the bosses trigger me beyond belief all due to the lock on system. Other than that, great game
There is a lock on system, click right thumb in

Not completely, more like God of War than say Valhalla

super beautiful game, but it's so bad that it only last 9.5 hours :(
With so many games to play, 9.5 hours is a relief
