Kirby sweepers are the best. My parents have owned 2 over a 40 year period. To be clear, they've only had 2 vacuums in 40 years. Both Kirby. And the first only died from some child sucking up driveway stones with it.

I know this is gonna sound crazy but I used to HATE the sound of vacuum cleaners when i was a baby but my mom had a kirby i dont remember what model, i was taking a nap one day and she was in the hall vacuuming, well she came into the living room we had a lot of pet hair cause she had a dog before he died of old age black lab 15 years old. Anyways, she'd come into the living room, i was sleeping in my crib the vacuum hit the crib and it made me sleep even harder because of the vibration of the vacuum on the leg of the crib. Never been scared of vacuum cleaners since.

I remember that my grandma had an old Kirby back in the '60s, but I don't remember the model. 😊
