The date should be 1992 for this wonderful TV production. The 1987 date refers to the original Off-Broadway production, which transferred to Broadway in 1988. It starred Scott Bakula and Alison Fraser.
I've been looking for this for years! I had it on a VHS tape years ago and it was lost when on loan to a friend. I prefer this version (sorry, Scott Bakula).I'd love to buy a better copy.

Fraser did the American tour. I got to see her reprise the role. She was wonderful!
