I had a waking encounter years back. I mind being fully conscious and all of a sudden in my mind's eye this being appeared...like your traditional "grey" like alien...but this thing or whatever it was I can tell you was not friendly. It was like I was suddenly not in my normal time and body but still observing this thing peering at me and I felt it wanted to know what I was but I shut my mind off and refused to interact with it.
Bit like being thrown backwards in a dream back into "the present" and this mental "jolt" back in and it was one of those..."What just happened there?" experiences...very disorientating but not experienced anything like that since...I think my defences have improved over time psychically.
Dreams though...there's certainly a lot of dreams that I know I've been places and with people and I'm left with this feeling of wishing I could've stayed longer...it's like being snapped back too soon into your body...I had one of these dreams this morning...I got snapped back as I witnessed something that got me emotionally and I went through this wormhole like tunnel...weird dream.
