Jackyl was and is just true rock n roll. I saw them for the first time in Louisville Kentucky at a club downtown called Coyotes back around late 90s I'm thinking with a few of my good buddies. We got drunk and rocked out with the rest of the rockers that night. Girls around deep and having fun. Then they came to the Kentucky fair about 10 years ago and at first they were just jamming pretty good. Then my section I gotta admit got the whole outdoor old Louisville baseball stadium to another level of loud and head banging good times. I've seen them 3 times at Coyotes and ounce at the old stadium I think I'd tore down now. But yea people it's always a good fun beer drinking whiskey sipping etc of your concoctions of drinks. To let lose to and have a party with friends and strangers become friends. Good memories. I hope for more down the road in this life. 🙏
I've spoken personally with Rick Derringer, Todd Rundgren, and Rowan Robertson of DIO fame and all 3 were so down to Earth that it blew my mind. Just super nice dude's.
