Traeger Smoked Chicken Wings-Dukes Sweet Georgia Heat and Buffalo Sauce

- 4lbs chicken wings
Brine:
1 gal Water
1/2 cup salt
1/4 cup sugar
1/8 cup smoked paprika
1/4 cup minced onion
1/8 cup granulated garlic
Dry rub
2 tbs Baking Powder
2 tsp Garlic Powder
2 tsp smoked paprika
2 tsp Cajun seasoning
2 tsp salt
Avocado oil to coat.
Buffalo sauce
1 1/4 sticks of butter
1/4 cup of Texas Pete hot sauce
1 tsp paprika
Brine chicken for at least 1 hour. I brined mine overnight. Drain, dry and add either avocado oil or olive oil to the wings. Warm Traeger to 225°F. Toss the wings in the mixed together rub. Smoke for 30 minutes. Bring the Traeger up to 450°F. Flip chicken every 5 minutes until chicken is at least 165°F. Leave it on longer for more a crispy skin. Melt butter and add hot sauce and paprika. Toss however many you want in the buffalo sauce and enjoy! Thanks for watching and please subscribe!
