I love DMT but the same thing happens 90% of time, as in this video: I hit them with 2 headshots - they get behind cover before I can even fire off the third shot to finish (head or body)
it's a monster for teamshots or when someone's tagged tho..
And I love it when I win duel against HC while hip-firing DMT for a three-tap

Checkmate weekend for scouts is actually pretty solid
Doing Scouts during Checkmate was a good move. Would've loved to see Symmetry tho. Made just add a round after flawless if there are more weapons than seven.
I like this idea. Maybe even a roulette for all the weapons that didn't make it in on their specific card.

The game we matched in trials took me by surprise. Was a very fun game and you made it look easy
The skyburners is extremely good in PvP, ist extremely underrated u just should AIM if u scope in its super good
DMT is still good, while hip firing on m&k it has a higher hit rate with full auto (holding left mouse) then it does when you tap-shoot for some reason

I love Skyburners because of the scorch and it's fun factor. (but more so because of more damage to Cabal. Fuck the Cabal, man.)
Last bullet ToM with radiant is a 3-tap in normal pvp. People under-rate the gun too much cause they're too scared of the health drain. Lean into the final bullet more. The drain doesn't ruin your fights as much as people think
I feel like using multiple weapons is fine in a challenge like this. I get the most enjoyment out of seeing a gun work well, and if that requires the utility another gun provides I think it’s more fun to watch that instead of just camping long range bc you can only use scouts

First match 1v3, all 3 of us need to be using Sweet Business only.
If you win, 1v4 Sweet Buisness.
All the way up to 1v6.
Change up the guns.

DMT is amazing in team composition bc either you clean your teammates kills or they clean yours, but theres no way you win a 1v1 unless your enemies are braindead

They changed it to where the ttk in Checkmate is supposed to be the same as regular Crucible.

Casually got a super in checkmate when I just got done watching cammy cakes try his hardest to farm a super in checkmate. Turns out dmt is actually wayyyyy better. I wonder how many nova bombs cammy would have gotten if he did the same damage as you while using his super generation build

Tex weapons mostly are hip fire. ADS with last word, its trash, same for DMT, but chapping is both ADS & hip fire, I think

Scouts are only gonna get better with the update coming 5 March.
I'm a bit sad about how much they nerfed DMT.
Just play how you naturally would with whatever weaponry youre doing the challenge with, as opposed to only using it.

The rule about not using your shotty is dumb. Like you’re already doing a challenge, making you also not play the game as intended is just a silly rule especially given that you have to earn special ammo in checkmate anyway
