I know some parents tend to wait for their kids to have a life before they go off and get married themselves. Some do it in fear that maybe the next partner might not love their kids cause it's not his/hers, or if he has kids to prevent the kids from not liking each other, or all future problems. If it were me I would wait to see my kids have a live before I go get mine. If I'm meant to have another partner then I will live til then if not it's okay, as long as I did my job as a mother.
