You should be taking spellthiefs, so you shouldn't be taking CS. The shield and "take CS" build is a meme and way weaker.

I love ways of thinking about the game like this. For example a lux support that isn't the carry anyways. So why not just spam cdr for more Q's. Jarvan building Zhonya despite no AP scaling, just to buy more time with the ult.
Nasus ignoring a entire ability. Just to spam armor reduction, slow, attack speed reduction + paired with frozen heart. And be fkn tanky with his build and ult.
