Counter Strike 1.6 holds a special place in my heart as I celebrate my 21st birthday today. Introduced to me by my father over 15 years ago on his old PC in the pharmacy where he worked, it became more than just a game, it's a reminder of the precious moments shared with loved ones. As an old man who took a break from 2007-2021, is there any good 1.6 servers? Or any kind of active community? I dig CS2 and all that good stuff, but miss what I grew up with sometimes!

They are not pro players. Just random guys from public. Cs 1.6 is dead since ~2013. There are no good players in a dead game. They all play like in csdm servers, without brain+strategy. And what did you expect? They don`t earn money in a dead game, so there is no motivation to grow and no good players to learn from , like it was when cs had a massive competition.

Я решил начать пробовать себя в 5х5, поиграть, реально интересно. Сыграл 3 матча и без преувеличений, во всех матчах 4 тиммейта х$уесосили меня за плохую игру. Just google gametracker and you can find servers in any country you like and 90% of the time they are full.

@@8staasi Recoil is better controlled at these resolutions. Set the command to "cl_dynamiccrosshair 0" and you're ready to play.
