This is a really great concept! The rain/music balance is just fine but some of the deep bass hits are full of distortion.
Examples at 0:34, 5:47, 9:04, 9:32 (the bass pad that comes in here distorts off and on for the next several minutes), thunder at 10:39 actually has some hard clipping from the loud signal. Similarly at 10:57.
BTW I'm listening on headphones: Arya Stealth, Aeon 2 Noire, Moondrop S8 so I know the bass distortion isn't from the headphones. Perhaps YT jacked your levels, but it sounds to me like you have several elements in your mix with deep bass and when enough of them combine it's enough to overload the output.

I had previously been using Beats which are very Bass-heavy and you're not the first to comment on the levels of certain aspects. Hopefully my more recent videos from today and earlier this week are a more rounded audio experience. Really appreciate this again, thank you for being here 👽✌️

Ahh thank you for letting me know. I too have experienced this. The videos are created with quite bass-heavy headphones so sometimes when listening without, the higher end sounds (like the rain) may sound louder. Appreciate you watching regardless, thank you ☺️✌️
@@Element1_1_5 For audio production it's probably a good idea to have more neutral headphones that give a flat sound profile across the frequency spectrum. Good ambient music regardless though.
