I will probably use this for surf fishing this summer and downgrade to a 3500 series Battle II next salmon season to save my wrists. All of the operations are butter smooth and the bail is nice and thick and has a solid flip to it. Everything about this reel is sturdy and strong. The drag system held up to the salmon and was also super smooth. I did use a scale to set the drag properly before going out to the river and this worked out tremendously. A bunch of other guys on the river would hook up and snap almost immediately. Just because you have a good drag system doesn't do anything if you don't set it correctly.
what did u buy?
I thought that the new sahara has silent drive locomotion like a level wind
i showed u the silent drive. Its that little rubber ring
I dont have a Sahara, but I just threw my Nasci 2500 in the garbage because of your opinions on the ugliness of the handle.
Sameer, just purchased a new rode combo and threw it away
Had to be done😝
@@ifishcatfish I believe so as well. Listening to you has made my standards a little bit higher. With all the great info and the realness.
I am collecting garbage today. Mark your bags with ugly handle, so it is easy to identify for me.
How does the Sahara function in the rain? Does it get increased inertia from water diluting the oil?
Sahara best❤
daiwa top 🔥🔥🔥
Daiwa failed me in the past, stuck with shimano for now
🙋.🙋
what are the dimensions of the sahara drums? are they the same diameter as the LT series?
if you mean gears, probably a little smaller than the gears of Legalis
Sorry, the spool size in mm
I have a colmic lareo 3.9 and I want to use it in the match style. is size 3000 suitable? or is size 4000 necessary? thanks in advance
@@oviveres6031 those look the same but i haven't measured them
@@oviveres6031 3000 is good
the old sahara handle is just as stupid as the new fuego handle on the 2500 xh.. fast handle and replaced from a better handle on the old modells with a bearing.. there daiwa made something very stupid,, to replace a good handle with totally crap
The DRAG! ? Why didn’t you click that drag just a little compared to the Legalis so we could hear the difference? Just do a follow up… great videos, always enjoy your attention to detail.
There were no changes to the drag. Same as ultegra
