It continues to be a shame that female soloists, not associated with large groups, get so little attention and love from kpop fans. Kpop is the only music genre where they don’t rule the industry.

It's different with a permanent group because they would continuously develop bigger secured fanbase each years while IZ*ONE only got a very limited time. It's easier to transition to solo career, when you already developed a large fanbase during your group promotions. In Chaeyeon case, she basically had to start over as soloist singer just like Eunbi, Yena and Yuri. Even among these 4 ex-IZ*ONE's soloist, we also need to factor in the difference of how big/good their company are, which we all know WM is the lowest among them. I mean, there's times where Chaeyeon had to use her own money to pay for her backup dancers, just to put it into perspective.
Also let’s not forget that Chaeyeon was one of the last girls to debut. Knock was a hit for her which is great. I don’t know if this will go viral like Knock did for the dance, but who knows.
