  • James Joseph shares his serendipitous journey from promoting the biggest software to promoting the biggest fruit, Jackfruit. His entrepreneurial experiences of wearing the hats of a Chef, a Doctor and an Engineer to rebrand the inferior Jackfruit to the Aspirational, Healthy and Affordable Jackfruit. How he turned an accidental discovery of green Jackfruit's anti diabetic benefit and a meeting with late Dr. Kalam to a breakthrough invention to make an all purpose flour which can reduce carbohydrate by half and double greens, in most Indian meals without any change in taste, texture or quantity to fight Diabetes and Obesity.
James Joseph did something that only a few are brave enough to do. He quit his high-paying job as a Microsoft director to start a venture based solely on a fruit. Taking his love for jackfruit to a whole new level, he started Jackfruit 365, a company that sells the fruit in a packaged, freeze-dried form, and aims to promote all things Jackfruit. James has over 20 years of Manufacturing, Sales and Marketing experience in India, North America, and Europe with Globally reputed organizations like Microsoft, 3M and Ford. In his last role as the Director, Executive Engagement at Microsoft India; he was responsible for strengthening Microsoft’s relationship with the senior executives of top 200 enterprises in India. Before joining Microsoft UK, he held manufacturing, supply chain, business development, sales and marketing positions at Minda, 3M, Ford Motor Company, i2 Technologies and Informatica. James is also an author.

It's great that when metformin is prescribed genuinely for a diabetic by a qualified doctor there are 101 doubts about side effects but when one person just claim that something is good N say blbla bla using microphone and it's proven in govt lab it contains metformin people still appreciate him and ask for his advice and gulp it with no doubts.

I would advise people to compare the nutrition values jack fruit365 with other cereals. The difference is only in the fibre content. Only 3 spoons of this need to be consumed in a day. How much fibre will the 3 spoons contain ? Would this be sufficient to control the blood sugar, especially since the carb content is the almost the same ?

You can actually take any other low-glycemic vegetable flour as well and you will get the same result/effect. Nothing special about this.

Can I mix it with water and drink two times or three times a day. I keep travelling and may find it difficult to mix it with food.

Avocado is also good for diabetes. It is a very good fruit and must be grown extensively in India.
Only concern is where to grow..as it dosent grow in too hot or too wet areas. And climate affects the taste of it. ( it is called butter fruit in india and being grown in Bhopal, Mysuru, hilly parts of kerala, kodaikanal etc)
