I just got this game to play solo. Unfortunately it seems you didn't get the chance to do a solo video but this still helps to understand part of the setup!
Welcome back :) While I've not checked out the rulebook for this one, my general experience with Czech Games Edition is that the games they publish generally have excellent rulebooks for learning the game - they're generally witty and entertaining, and they clearly put real thought into how best to introduce and teach game concepts. Where I find they sometimes struggle a little is in functioning as a mid-game reference when you need to look up a particular rule - sometimes the rule is something you potentially needed to know as part of the tutorial, so is listed at whatever point the related topic came up; other times it's a rule that they could leave for later, so it gets listed in the full-game/post-tutorial section. It does sound like you had no problem finding the rules you needed when you had to look stuff up, so they may have improved on that front.
Yeah, I really really think they nailed this book. Not only is it one of THEIR best books, but one of the better books I've ever read for a game of this weight.
@@TomTeachesGames My personal standard for best rulebook is the Dominant Species rulebook, but that's helped by the game having simple enough rules that they can just be laid out in a sensible order over a reasonable number of pages (though the game does typically take several hours to play, so it's still got a reasonable weight)
