You often hear “it saved my life” and I couldn’t say it any different despite of being a cliche, for a troubled lonely kid it defintely did. I felt so embraced and understood. It takes reaching deep into the soul, far away in a special place to write such a beautiful song. I've always admired Billy for his ability to do that repeatedly.

Hearing Billy Corgan sing with vibrato is just so strange, usually when rockers age, their voice naturally loses a bit, but with Corgan it seems like the exact opposite.
Rehearsal probably. I mean on any given tour there is a given setlist that is rehearsed. Having said that, they are born to be songwriters which probably means they are better than the average person at remembering their own lyrics. Think about your own art, you might have some stories that you usually tell people that you have rehearsed
I believe if you write it yourself, you're going to have a much easier time memorizing your own words/lyrics. It's your story. See where I'm coming from?

he is using his guitar in E flat tuning, also he's playing this version with D - Dmaj7 - Am - G chords, which is the same but two frets up than C
