I never realised fridges have snack drawers. We’re old school, you have to rummage through the fridge looking for snacks. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose… may the odds be ever in your favour

…Or you could just buy a block of cheese and slice it or put some yogurt in a bowl and top with granola/sprinkles. Takes maybe 2 minutes, is cheaper doesn’t create so much trash/waste and has less sugar and preservatives. 😬
In my opinion the people that “organize” food drawers for their kids 90 percent of the time it is not very healthy because it has to be prepackaged junk food in order to organize and have a bunch of it (Sometimes there are people who have healthy fridge stocks)
Yh I feel like that too bc eventually their gonna have to keep restoring, more trips to the dentist ,more trips to the hospital ,higher chance of diabete ect.. Like if ur gonna feed them responsibly then I am cool with it but leaving them with full control that's where things go wrong

I grew up in an extremely poor household. My mother raised my brother and me by herself from the time I was 12. She worked odd/long hours, so my brother and I were left to "fend for ourselves" most of the time. That meant almost all meals were simple meals that didn't require the stove or oven. We had a ton of snacks and convenience foods. Probably more than what Cat has in her house for her kids. The difference between her house and mine is the organization. Our cabinets, fridge, and freezer were stuffed and jammed packed all willy-nilly to the point of chaos and confusion.
