Gonna help you out. This song is basically Tobias saying F... Y... to the old live bamd musicians who sued him to get more money out of the Ghost cake. Tobias won the case in Swedish court. There is a lot of references in the lyrics like "a pack of fools can take the stand", stinks feels and look identical (about Simons (solo guitarist) new band Priest, the accuser sends the bill and more. Prequelle the album is about the black plague and Tobias very smart as he is had disguised the song to fit the album but couldn't hide everything so when you know about the court case you understand. A easy way to get the song is to replace the word Faith with Ghost and it becomes very clear.
"an endless stream of awesome" Yes! That is exactly Ghost! ~Well Said~ The entire Prequelle album is colored by the lawsuit. I saw interview where Our Guy revisited the album and was struck by how angry it is (he would know!)
This is really one of my favorites on Prequelle. That bass is amazing! And as some other mentioned, its a hue middle finger to the former band members. The only loss from that time is Martin Persner (Omega), in my opinion!
Yeah. Itia is 100% correct. It sounds this good (or better) live. Asaf, spot on about the meaning. There was certainly a dig in the song at the people who sued him. There’s more in there, but it’s definitely a jab. You’ll hear that throughout Prequelle.
It was the second song I heard by them. Square Hammer being first. I am now addicted, though I do not like all of it. That can be said for any band.✌️❤️
Another great Ghost/TF song. Although the "pack of fools" line is likely about his four former bandmembers, the rest of the song is hard for me to pin down. It is interesting that he uses Luddites in a seemingly derogatory manner since they were working class heroes 200 years ago and remain heroes to some today. In fact, Luddism seems to be making a comeback with all of the concerns over AI. Unfortunately for present day Luddites, new technology has always been an unstoppable force. Plus if a group were to try to take a sledgehammer to AI, the one sure way to piss off an intelligence is to threaten its right to exist.

Studio audio. Live footage. But it doesn't sound much different live. And they probably should have just done the live audio.

This song hits you like a tidal wave of energy and aggression. Next reaction - Nick Thurl end up dead 😍
