As cool as this seems, I feel like it could get annoying to always get patina from deoxidizing copper. In the new trial chambers, you’d accumulate a lot of this scrapping the bulbs alone. I think it’s why Mojang never took the approach of blocks that are scrapped by an axe dropping an item (like bark from trees). It would be a similar if less severe problems to constantly getting wheat seeds every time you punch grass. The only way to make it ok would be to somehow make it an item you genuinely need a ton of, which is something that’s not likely to be done successfully. Prismarine is also already renewable anyway. I’m not saying all this to knock the mod. It’s really cool, but I think this is the thought process the Mojang devs go through.
Yes i think that is a valid critisism and if Mojang added it they would have to deal with that however here comes our advantage as modders because anyone who feels like this might be too annoying to collect can just choose to not install this mod!
