Not if Moses gets to him first , I agree he shouldn't be rushed but they way he's going and the level he's at already it's gonna be easier said than done
@StevenCavanagh-od8lq Moses hasn’t done anything Daniel wasn’t doing when he first came through. The first real opponent is where the real welcome to the big time happens.
@ShahanAhmed-h5l not being funny but Dubois has only fought top level fighters in the last cpl of year and it's only the fight with the walkin heavy bag Mr ped head Miller where people started to give him credit and he grew a pair so I disagree
@StevenCavanagh-od8lq My point is up to this point Moses hasn’t done anything his best win is an overrated Kean and Dubois’ best win was Goreman. It was his fight Vs Joyce which introduced him to elite level so we’ve yet to see Moses on that stage.
@ShahanAhmed-h5l wasn't Dempsey suppose to be a real test tho ? He went the distance with Hrgovic and Moses put to bed n tucked him in in 2 mins . As for Joyce all he has or had was a good chin apart from that he's slow and pretty limited technically
That's a mad statement. His best win was last fight. Dempsey is a decent fighter and Moses is an unbelievable talent, but going up against Bakole, Hrgovic, even Kabayal rn. These peeps are smart, good heavyweights who will be trained to neutralise Moses current style. Give the kid a few years, he beats everyone on the British level domestic scene up to Wardley atm, he's gonna go into a heavyweight scene that will be globally weaker once Usyk, Fury, even Parker have packed it in. In 4 years time a 23/24 year old Moses Vs a 31 year old Dubois is an amazing fight. Right now he's still abit too raw to go up against the top 10 imo.
no chance, i take it you just watch boxing? he's a prospect for sure. he still needs to learn the trade but once he does then oh boyyyy he has the attributes to beat anyone.
Now Moses Itauma is a totally different beast now I seriously rate him and I think he is a special fighter and I think it won’t take him long to get to world level.
Yeah absolutely. Jai is a beastt and Nyika is also an interesting fighter I didn't really know about before. There were also a couple of other fun fights with potentially good future contenders Id like to hear about. Ive been looking daily if they posted a video about it.
Moses needs to fight some more top 10 ranked fighters, any four of the following: Frank Sanchez, Efe Ajagba, Dillian Whyte, Otto Wallin, Jared Anderson.
It’s not wise at all to put Moses in there with Daniel this year. Daniel is just the man of the moment and he’d leave serious mental scars on Moses moving forward by brutally knocking him out.
Hasn't even beat a top.50 heavyweight I guess it's the Brits medii culture of boosting up athletes to gain more profit.. what a way to make a fake life ffs
Fury hyped then dropped, AJ hyped and dropped, Dubois hyped and then get dropped after quitting twice and now hyped again after beatinh AJ. Moses Itauma is the next hype and watch this space he will be classified as Nigerian after Bakole smashes him
@@JackGallagher2014 Aye, technically. But the man is suggesting he goes in with Dave to test his endurance. Allen can give fighters rounds and possibly test his chin. Like what Allen did with Fisher. Moses is levels above Fisher in terms of talent but nobody has tested Moses chin and durability. Look what happened with Dubois against Joyce. Dubois was young and blowing everyone away but he struggled with a tough durable opponent in Joyce and that's what Moses needs. Not people he can just knock over because at world level that's not going to happen 🥊
Beterbiev had such a high punch output despite the knee injury stopping him from doing his normal roadwork for the last fight? I see him winning by tko this time
Just see the thumb nail. Haven’t watched the clip. But absolutely do not let the handbrakes off. Let him learn, if he goes the long way round so be it. We saw what happened to Jared Anderson, putting him in fights that he wasn’t ready for just yet. Who actually said it, was it Adam Catterall ?
The lack of understanding of levels is astounding! Moses is a very good prospect but that’s all he is currently he’s years away from getting in there with the likes of these elite top 5 men they would destroy his career by rushing him. Silly stuff
@ShahanAhmed-h5l Nelson doesn't seem to rate any southpaws, including Usyk. I think it's because in Brendan Ingle's gym they used to all spar southpaw and never regarded the southpaw stance as anything special. So I think Nelson is thinking too much about the stance and not the fighters.
I think Moses gives Usyk all sorts of trouble. His style matches up well with the smaller heavyweights. Personally i think Dubois would be a bit too big and strong at this stage of his career. Parker would be a good match for him once he's fought Dubois.
Wow, people are really getting carried away. Looking at the comments, it looks like most people really haven't followed boxing long. Slow down ffs, Itauma has never been in with quality opposition, never seen a fight go past a few rounds and never been hit by someone with a pulse. Lots of things he's got to experience first. He needs learning fights otherwise sticking him in with the big boys will end up ruining his career in the long-term. He may well just be as special as people think and he may well beat some of these guys if put in with them now, but he will likely lose too, and badly if he's not been seasoned right. Also, he needs to get in line like everyone else, beat some decent names before getting bigger fights. Everyone is trying to get the big fights and you can't just be given title fights and top 5 opponents just cause you beat Demsey McKean. It would make a mockery of the whole ranking system (which is bad enough as it is)
Off topic question to boxing experts out there: I know there's weight limits in boxing, but say a guy weighing 88 kg, wants to box in the heavyweight division, can he do it? Whatever reason, he don't want to put on more weight. Or do you have to be the minimum weight on weigh in?
It would seriously depend how good you were. Stanley Ketchel was a middleweight who fought Jack Johnson for the heavyweight title. A very good cruiser could conceivably fight a catch weight fight at heavyweight but some might complain about a title being at stake etc. It would more likely be a catch weight non title fight. Catch Weight is where both fighters agree to fight but are different weights. You don’t see them happen often.
Totally disagree with Spencer’s Oliver on Fabio wardley coz I think he’s not on world level to be honest and I think when he faces someone who has something about them on a world level he will crumble. I don’t think he has caught anyone on world level yet.
Its paradox how people are saying some Boxers who where champs and then lost 2-3 times should retire But than Hype dubois as if hes the greatest ever because he won against hergovic (and gave him headbutt) Some 300 pound diabetic whos way older than him And against joshua which would be impressive if this wasn‘t the worst Performance joshua ever delivered he basicaly looked Like he wanted to get beat up.
