I’ve seen this video in 2016 and loved it. I went and got onyx black yarn, Vanna’s Glamour yarn. After I made the 3 panels some how I put it away and did not finish the blouse. I still have the 4th panel unfinished on the hairpin. It’s now year 2020 and I am determined to finish this project now after 4 years. I may keep the front open and do a boarder around it, we’ll see. I’m glad your video was still available and I found it and put it in my liked videos. Thank you!
Oh my goodness, this is absolutely breath taking to me. I want to do this so badly. I watched all of the tutorial and you were excellent and clear. Can't wait to get the yarn to do this. Thank you so much for the tutorial. I have never attempted to do the loom because I thought it was too confusing, but not on this tutorial.
This was my first hairpin lace project and it turned out amazing! Thanks so much for your easy to follow instructions. I'm going to make so many of these now :)

Greetings from Greece. You are an amazing teacher. I only have 1 question. If i dont join the 2 fronts in the middle, and only put a button on the bottom of the V , will it look like a vest ?? Will it be ok? I want to make a hairpin lace vest, V shape on the neck or cardigan and I cannot find the pattern anywhere..
do you have any patterns that are also quick to make using bernat handicrafter crochet thread size 5. I love your videos. I shared it with other friends. we are always making your project in our weekly crochet group
How many yards of yarn did it take to make this blouse? I have a beautiful skein of yarn that is not heavy weight, and I've been looking for something to make with it. I think this would be perfect for it. Thank you
For smaller blouse than this one I recommend to place the 2 post from the loom a little close to each other , like 8cm apart , mine was 10cm. and make 180 loops,
I have started out with a green color about the same size as what you have shown in the video but I was wondering if you are able to tell me how many skeins it would take in order to use 3 oz skeins or 8 oz skeins?

Sorry, but I really don't know. :-(
Kelli Johnson
I used less than 2 6 oz skeins. I modified the chain counts for the join to fit me. Hope this helps.
Thanks you, Sylvia for your help.
Good Luck!
I wonder if its possible to make a market bag out of hairpin lace?
I think you can, with a nice liner.
