    Wow! Awesome. This boils down to 2 main prompts to make your topical map and then some possible updated instructions. I started adding a market relevancy statement to my directions to try to narrow some of the focus down since we serve only a few industries. Anyhow... another notation... I have been running side by side on ChatGPT 4 (paid account) and Google Bard. IMHO... Bard is actually far better. It's pretty amazing the difference in responses. Thank you so much for the info and lesson!

    Hey Matt, in 2023 if you are going to build a website to achieve topical authority, what’s more important when starting out- building a topical map for your content plan or finding low KD keywords to start writing articles ?
    I’m starting a new website and not sure if I should be searching for low KD keywords to get some traction with google or forget low KD keywords and build a topical map. Build the map, crank out content and achieve topical authority.

      Go for topical map and some of your topics that you're gonna cover will be low competitive and will rank obviously and later on you'll rank on the other ones
      Remember that you aren't targeting to rank for every content you'll produce. Your main targeted pages will be lesser than your total content and the rest of the content is only to gain topical authority. ROI will be enough even with those being on top of the search results

    IMPORTANT TIP:
    Though topic authority is GOOD, it's better to do keyword research. If you write 100 posts with ZERO search traffic, you'll see no real traffic boost.
    You can take care of zero-traffic articles later if you want. But your goal is still traffic. So priority to those that bring it.

    Wow, what a way to find hundreds of uninteresting topics to write about. The difference is that the ai model gives the semantics of similar topics by words, and with the hand we collect what the user really needs by volume. Why do we need a hundred articles for the sake of mythical topical authority? Is it better to make a hundred articles at once answering the question and collecting traffic

  • @AlejoCast
    @AlejoCast ปีที่แล้ว

    I don't think the method is very accurate. You could achieve much better results doing some initial analysis and research to gather data, even with helpful tools like Cognosis or AgentGPT (if you like the AI approach). Consider conducting some manual research using SEO tools or GPT4 chat plugins, even if it's just for basic information. It's crucial to have real data before diving into making semantic relations and other similar techniques. This is because the ChatGPT data is quite limited, and relying solely on it can result in creating vast amounts of useless content. In other words, the time you save by quickly drawing conclusions at the beginning is ultimately wasted when you create content that doesn't drive traffic or yield results. The research of words and the structure of the strategy is, in my opinion, the most crucial step. While creating authority websites by topics is a good approach, doing it better will lead to better outcomes.
