The most professional VE tyranny oil change I've come across You Tube...well done mate👍 However, I always use a small torque wrench to do all those bolts...I always want to ensure consistent torque settings...but I guess feel by hand is something that comes with years of experience🤓🤓
Thank you, I appreciate that mate I do agree with you, they probably should be talked but you're also right with experience I can do up bolts to where I am happy and bearly have come backs :) Thanks for commenting your kind words
My wifes trans was working fine before took ot to mechanics. Had some work done n 3 days later it slips. Now it will drive 50m then have no gears any idea what they have done. They are telling her that she needs a new trans. Is this false. Can i just get it serviced or do you reckon they sabotaged it. Trans was replaced 12months ago already
@@Thewolverine691 check the oil level first, make sure it's full of oil and not black and smelling burnt Make sure the engine is running whilst you're checking it, be careful
Can the trans drive fine but cause an engine light? I intermittently have an engine light on warm days. No code. After a while it will start and be fine. 170k 2011
Great video. Mine has 225xxx but runs great. The transmission has never been serviced according to the service history. Would it be safe to change the transmission fluid or is it too late? Cheers
i would be really surprised if it went that many kms without a service, you would think one mechanic would check it? Is the transmission suffering any issues? I would expect some slippage if it had never been serviced
Well, I’m surprised. No slippage or anything, but the car has been driven appropriately by the past owners. I am adding a transmission cooler though, which will require an additional 400ml fluid. I’m unsure if I can simply top it up with 400ml, or if I should just drain the transmission and service it?
@@RealAutoSolutions Hey mate. Got the transmission serviced the other day, but not flushed, and all worked out great. No change in shift quality, but no slipping or damaged caused. Cheers for the help. I was a bit worried about doing it at about 226xxx, but it went fine.
Beautiful! I would think it should feel a bit nicer throughout the shifts It should up shift a bit quicker & also not be so clunky in the down shift Glad it helped you out mate
Like your down to earth and straight to the point description, very helpful. Thanks 🙂
Thank you, that's really kind

Impossible for me to say personally
I would suggest getting a second opinion
@RealAutoSolutions i might just do a service and see if it fixes it. Thanks for ya quick reply. Im good with engines but no F all about transmissions

Yeah for sure, but there will be a code set if there is an engine light mate i guarantee that

I would recommend to do a service if its not slipping mate, have you checked the condition of the oil ? what colour is it right now ?
