Hi, Nick-just a tip for those who may be new to working in a sketchbook, if you put a piece of paper under the page you are working on in your book, the paint won’t glue the pages together! I typically use one of my many cast off papers-those I wipe my brushes or wedges or whatever I’m using-off on, that eventually become the start of another painting or collage papers. Allows for more abandon when painting and protects the rest of the sketchbook. Thanks for another great video!
During covid I painted with a friend over zoom for two to three hours one day a week. It was wonderful. Just signed up for this years class, thanks so much for offering it free.
My intention this year is to start getting some painting skills through your videos and workshops. I love how you explain and share your amazing are feeling

Catching up on your videos- yes identify your feelings, give yourself a space you’ve made comfortable for launching yourself into your creative flow. Like diving into a pool.

Ive been wantung go try using last year's calender as a sketchbook, using the picture side as part of fhe history.

no, but many of my works are informed by jazz- so go for it! I think the classical musicians of long ago were the 'soul' musicians of their time.
Yep. I think people with synesthesia do it naturally. I am "neurotypical", so it's a struggle, but sometimes I'm happy with the result.
