That was easy, Russ! The newer Caravan is a pain to do. The top bolt is the issue. They modified the anchor and it is nothing but trouble. (Keep that in mind if you ever have to quote one)
Thanks Mang 🔧👍super ez! I think it would be cool if we could put air shocks back there 😁 We got a trailer hitch that scraps when theres a load in the back. And it would be fun to make it look like a HotWheel 😊🔧
@ No, do not buy regular hardware bolts for this application. The bolts are not hardened the same. The steel is not strong enough for this kind of pressure. Never ever buy regular hardware bolts for something like shocks. A wrecking yard is your best bet, that’s my number one recommendation. There’s lots of these vans and wrecking yards, if you don’t have one in your area, you can look them up online. They will mail you parts. But again, DO NOT use bolts from a hardware store to hold your rear shocks on, strongly not recommended.
Thanks I'm doing my 2003 TNC here when it warms up and oil pan gasket as well. I've not taken very good care. But 2025 is year of change!
I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I’m glad you’re taking care of your old caravan and 2025 is that year of change. 🔧👍😎
HA!! That's one clean van!! In Michigan, those years, the front struts change themselves out!
Ha, Indeed!

@@RussShawTV lol I had the same idea if you see any let me know
Some vans had self leveling shocks. Larger in diameter and super $$$$$.
I saw those I thought 💭 nawww 😁
