    This must be something new... i didn't have a dad around. Raised by mom and grandma... when i played i never ran into this..

    We was raised that when you stepped between the lines you belonged to the coaches regardless of parents with that said they never belittled us or cussed us in any way

    Ok no. My son was raised by a woman and was taught to respect but to demand respect. Maybe cuz we grew up in a small town idk but I never had a problem

    I don't blame coach Saban for getting out of this INSANITY!
    You can't be a coach anymore you got to be a BABY SITTER to a bunch of NON DESERVING, NIL ENTITLED children.

    I assume some need a father figure more just because they may need it, Saban was more than a Coach, Its in his dna from his dad. Complex i guess depending on the coach, Those that are wise enough to step into those shoes put themselves of caring as a father as well, Being an elder is a serious responsibility but ots a gift! Elders knowledge is free if your willing to grow from it, Elders gains of knowledge by teaching is not the reason they do it, They already know so its a gift if you can receive it...
