Coming home on visits to Ireland from the U.K. (Manchester) for 5 days at a time, where I’ve lived 22 years in the U.K., I’d love to be able to use LEAP cards on Bus Éireann services and on Irish Rail trains, as my family live in Dunshaughlin, Co Meath - arriving off the ferry from Holyhead on Irish Ferries SailRail, I would use one on on the LUAS and on the DART when visiting extended family and friends in Dublin, my last visit home being in October 2022 - I’m so used to the “touch in and touch out” with Manchester Metrolink Trams using a U.K. Debit card, so I’m wondering if there is similar on the LUAS and on the DART
Incredibly helpful! Thanks much.

Where do you get a leap card from ( visitors)?
When i am in the bus i have to tell to the driver my stop?
I live in Wexford, and yes I need to tell the driver my destination.
On dublin bus no, the fare is the same no matter where you're going. You can just tap at the side.
Is there a digital card that you can use on the app or do you need a physical card?
That would make too much sense
