    Nice job and it's great to recycle wood. I'm just starting to do the same. Great video thanks 👍

    Great job mate! Thou perhaps a couple of heavier pieces fixed to the bottom of stand for when it gets windy

      You're absolutely right. The stand was a little weak and in the end I removed the 'feet' and screwed the post directly to my fence which worked out much better

    Awesome project, what angle did you cut the pillars for the roof, and do you have a cut list for measurements?

    • @ajaykarwal
      @ajaykarwal  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The pillars are cut at 45 degrees and the pitch of the roof is a 90 degree angle so it all fits nicely.
      Don’t have a cut list I’m afraid. I just made it up as I went based on the scraps of wood I had

    how did you cut the angle for the pillars and supports? it looks great!

    • @ajaykarwal
      @ajaykarwal  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The pitch of the roof is 90 degrees, so the sides come down at 45deg. Therefore the angle to cut on the pillars was also 45deg which was nice and easy for me. It all depends on the angle of the pitch of the roof so yours may vary

    Where I live, a breeze would knock that over in one minute. That post would have to be 3 feet in the ground to keep it upright.

      You're absolutely right.. It fell over shortly after filming so I ended up taking the "legs" off an just screwed the post direct to my fence post.

    hey Ajay,i just found ur channel while searching for a bird table,wondering what basic tools can i get as a beginner?and what kind of wood/nails/glue i must have…thank u

    • @ajaykarwal
      @ajaykarwal  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well my table is made from scrap wood (old fence panel, fence post and other bits i had lying around).
      Tools wise, you could make this table with just a Saw and a hammer. BUt having a mitre saw is really useful so maybe invest in that

    how to In this video I make a simple bird house table from some pallet wood, an old fence post and some small scraps. It's a great little project to use up some scrap wood and after a coat of paint it turned out to be a great addition to our garden. get the plans for it

      @ajaykarwal  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Je suis désolé de ne pas avoir les mesures exactes car je l'inventais au fur et à mesure. Tous mes angles sont de 45 degrés, ce qui facilite les choses.

    Well the first flaw I can see straight away!! No sides to the feeding base? First winter gale puts bird feed to the ground, Where cats awaits,?? Dont use household paint use preventive wood stain!!
